ok so my sister in third grade sees me online all the time. She plays with my avatar, fools around with websites and stuff. THing is she wants an account here. Normally i'd tell her to bug off but my parents have a new rule: I cannot say "no" unless it is absolotely neccesary to my little sis. If i tell her "no" now she'll tell my parents and they'll say yes becuz they have no idea what this website is. If I say yes then she might get into the pregnancy section and learn about sex and all that and if she started talking about THAT i'd be in huge trouble. How i can i tell her no while convincing her to not tell my parents? Take in mind she's only eight.

Have you ever thought of getting her her own e-mail address and then put blocks on what she can get into on the net That is what my daughter has done for my 8 year old grandson. She also checks his e-mail weakly. I and some of my friends and my daughter's friends send him e-mails quite often and he is content with that.

If I were you, I would talk with your parents first. Try to get them to understand that this is not a site for small children. Show them some of the bad questions and maybe they will tell her no. Unless, you are afraid to get in trouble for coming on here. How old are YOU? Over 16? If you are, than you will be fine. Just talk to your parents first.

Sounds like you have a pretty smart little sister! I mean, I'm in my 40s and it took a while for me to get my avatar like I wanted it! I understand your concern for her getting into subjects that are over her head, but I don't have a solution - only a suggestion. Is there any way you can visit this site after she is in bed at night? You sound like a very cool big brother! God bless!

Dude,
Youve struck gold !

Tell her you'll set up the account if shes tells the parent you need a new car ... you need a Master card, you need a personal assistant to do your home work .... after all no one can say "No" to the little sister.

Ok ... so rat her out to the parents .... she's to young to wander in cyber land ... your parents will agree.

whatever you've told us what you think about this website, about the pregnancy section and all...tell that to your parents why you couldnt let her have an account here. otherwise,go to a website for kiddies and let ur little sister have an account there.

your parents told you that you cannot say no to her?? What kind of parents do you have, maybe thats part of the problem they should start telling her no , sounds to me like she is a very spoiled 8 year old!

You need to tell your parents that you don't think it is a good site for her to be on and show her some more kid-friendly sites. Try to avoid this site when she's hanging around.

Don't talk to your 8 year old sister. Explain to your (adult) parents. Tell them (if you are somewhat older) that this is just not a child's websight. Maybe they do not treat you older because you are not acting it?

Just tell her not to click on that and let her get an account.

Maybe you should explain to your parents why you don't want her on this website. If they allow her, then it is on them
