I gained 40 pounds while I was pregnant and my son is now six months old and the weight doesn't want to come off. I really don't have time to work out anymore between work and school and my baby but I want my body back and I don't want it to take along time. Does anyone have any ideas

I am going to give you the answer you are going to hate. Weight loss is not a quick and easy process. Only the bad ways to loose weight are quick. I reccomend weight watchers if you need group support and a plan. Nothing comes easy but stick with healthy eating and excerise and the pounds will come off in no time.

wow sounds like you got alot of excuses to you not loosing weight. Now take everything all those excuses and throw them out the window. In the morning, instead of you sitting down to have a cup of coffee, strap your child in the stroller, pour yourself a water and go for a speed walk around the block (about 15 minutes or so) instead of taking a elevator, take the stairs. STOP EATING OUT!!! STOP EATING JUNK FOOD!!! play with your child, get on the same level as your child and roll around and play. When you watch TV, lay on the floor and do as many sit ups that you can. All of these things you can add into your life as long as you TRY. Remember that procrastination is evil, if you keep procrastinating you'll never get it done.

It's better to lose the weight slowly, that way it will stay off better. You don't have to have lots of time to exercise, just do a few stretches while you're watching tv, or lie on your back on the floor and put the baby on your feet while holding his hands and lift your feet up in the air. Or you can lie on your back on the floor with your feet flat on the floor, set the baby on your tummy, and keeping your shoulders and feet flat on the floor, lift your tummy up off the floor, like a pelvic thrust. This way you get to exercise and play with the baby!! Just a few minutes each day/night and you will soon feel a difference.

You can do a detox, for 5 days and drink only clear liquids, water, oraganic apple juice, green tea, no food, no fruit, no veggies. You will lose 10 pounds of water for sure and then just watch what you eat after that and avoid carbs and sugar.

green tea & a lot off it. it will clean your body out and give you a boost of energy to handle your hectic day. 3 cups = 1 cup of coffee's caffine. try and fit in a quick brisk walk in the morning. i'm sure you will be looking great for next summers mama's hot new bathing suit.

Wait a little longer. When he turns maybe one, then go to the gym in the early morning before work and leave your child in daycare or hire a babysitter.
