alright heres the situation, i had a pimple that was on my forhead that hadnt quite come to the surface yet, but i love to pick things and i was squeezing at it to like pop a white head and puss came out which was what i wanted to but then it was slowly bleeding and ended up becomeing a scab and it look horrible, now as bad as this sounds i want to pick it to clean it and then let it heal from there but i cant even pick it becasue the scab wont lift up. but i want it to and i kno your gonna say no no dont lift it up, i need to, on my skin it helps the scabs heal faster, believe me i'v noticed this for about 10 years now..i just need a way to get the scab off or something that will make the scab look gone fast, make-up makes it look worse(i knew it would though)HELP!

ps. sorry that it was soo long

well the key is to not let the scab get hard you want to keep the area aka the scab as soft and wet as possible its when it gets hard that it scabs. next time you getin the shower soke in the bottom of the tub with the shower running fairly hot when you scab gets soft get out and immedatly put tripple antibiotic ointment on it than rip a piece of thin plastic like from a sandwitch bag a small piece and cover the scab with the plastic. the plastic will stick to the ointment just make sure you keep it done all the time re aply and re aply dont let it get hard.it will heal faster and not scar

If you must pick the scab clean the area with some peroxide and then get some Neosporin with antibiotics in it and put a band aid over it. Keep the area clean so that it doesn't get infected and it should clear up in a week or ten days.

Are you familiar with impetigo? You may have that and picking will make it worse, plus you will need the right medication to treat it. Check with your doctor.
