Avoid all refined sugar products like candy, icecream, cookies, cake. Also stay away from too many carbs, such as white bread and rice, and pasta. Avoid high fat food like whole milk and cheese, and fried foods.

Typically there are not any specific food you should totally cut out. Cutting out foods completely will set you up for failure. Try limiting things like cheese and high fat food like foods high in sugar and refined carbs. I usually try to eat cheese with one meal because I love it so much but ask for it without the rest of the time. Make sure you are balancing your meals with mostly fruits and veges and you will not be as inclined to bing on high fat foods.
