You know when your are in love with someone when your heart starts to beat fast when you see him, or when he passes by you. Also when you can't sleep, eat, can't think straight, keep staring at him/her, or when he/she ask you a question and you just stare at him/her. So if you do fall in love make sure it is a sure thing, and he feels the same way.

Although I can't truely give the feeling of absolute passion for another justice, using just words, I do have an experience today that reminded me that true love never fades.
My girlfriend (Ginny) of 20 months and I broke up recently because we simply wanted the other to better enjoy the college experience. Although its not evident if this has helped or hampered our different experiences, it has made us come to truly appreciate the each other. My most recent example of this was this morning.
Ginny goes to another college and the only times I have seen her this year are when I travel the 200+ miles to visit her, which are always worth it. However, each trip takes up my whole weekend and drains me, thus causing the homework cause to be a lost one. Being a Nuclear Engineer it is very, very bad is one falls behind so I put a stop to these trips to see Ginny. It had been about 5 weeks since the last time I saw her... until this morning.
Ginny had complained all week about a huge test she had coming up on Friday (today) and I tried all week to comfort her. This morning she called me at 8:00 and woke me up. She kept telling me to open my door, but being still asleep I demanded to know why. She simply said "trust me" and hung up. So I rolled out of bed where, the minute earlier, I had been soundly sleeping and actually dreaming of her, and walked to my door. I opened it and all of a sudden she jumped onto me and gave me a huge hug. Because I was still asleep mentally I could really tell if I was dreaming or not. After I came to and realized that this was really happening I returned the hug and kiss.
Now here is a answer to your question:
True love is not knowing if you are experiencing reality or are living in a dream world.
I suppose it is a little of both!

Love is...the first person you think of when you wake each morning, and the last that you think of when you go to bed at night. It is the person who is the reason for your silly smile, or your infectious laughter, or the unusually kind way you suddenly treat everyone around you. It is the person you ache for when the two of you are apart. The person you cling to when you are together. It is the person who "gets you" when no one else does. It is the person who's opinion matters the most to you, and who's hand you long to hold. It is the person you whisper your deepest secrets to because you know that they will be safe. It is the person that you count on to be there for you, and the person you trust with everything that has meaning to you. If you have someone in your life that gives you all of that, then you already know what love is like. *smiles*

Sometimes the only way to know you are in love is to feel like there is nobody else in the world that you want as your partner. If you aren't sure that what you are feeling is love, it probably isn't. Love can make you feel a little sick, you find that you are constantly talking about the person you have feelings for, and you are almost always sure that it is love if it really is. Good luck

Love is less of an emotion than it is a determined series of actions. It is a desire for the other persons best interest. The bible says the ultimate expression of love is when a person lays down his life for another. A bit extreme for most practical implications but another very difficult expression of love occurs when you love someone and they don't love you. You have to make a determined action to let them go, because you have their best interest in mind. You love them so much, you want only for them to be happy. If you meet someone and begin to "FEEL" like your falling in love, ask yourself, if this person someday tells me they do not love me, can I let them go and still be happy for them? When the answer is yes, your in love. I pray that when you find it, it will be reciprocated. Good luck and God bless you!

Love is like a thousand butterflies trying to escape your heart while its on fire. It is two swans making love in freezing lakes, and black panther eyes are the last memories you have. You and look at each other without looking away and you know you have founf a home thats not solid.

Hmm, how to explain this. Well first off to answer your question, you know when your in love when you can't stop thinking of that person, and just want to be with them. If you want their body it's lust not love, and lust doesn't last long. You know your in love when you imagine that person getting hurt and you feel hurt yourself and you want to cry because just the thought of losing them send sadness through you. And hearing their name and or voice sends shiver through your spine. Love is a good feeling, love is like heaven, but it can hurt like hell.

You will think alike or know what they're thinking. Speak in unison or say what they are thinking, love their company, always happy to see them. Your relationship is running smoothly for the most part and you could care less about looking at another. You both have the utmost respect for each others feelings. Their touch is gentle and soothing to you.

You feel the need to be with them at all times. When things go pear shaped they are the first person you think of to call. You love the way it feels to be in their arms, and the taste of their kiss is something you never forget and become un-addicted from. When your with them its like nothing and no one else matters and to feel their touch is unlike anything you've ever felt before. You see your soul in their eyes and when they smile everything fades away and all you can see is their face.....kinda like that.

Your heart races like when you drink too much caffeine and run a marathon, your mind is hazy like when you eat too much turkey on thanksgiving or have too much wine, your palms may be clammy, you focus too much attention on your appearance or how you may act, your heart feels heavy when you are not near the person, you want to squeeze the guy like a cute lil' kitten until his little eyes pop out.
