Let me explain bipolar to you, ( i am) when people say extreme high, its not just laughing, its spending tons of money(that you don't have) sleeping around, doing and saying things you would never do,talking fast, Taking on tons of extra work that no other normal human being could handle. Drugs, alcohol, hearing voices, seeing things, thinking your god. Having grandiose ideas..you get the point. The lows are so low that you can't get out of bed, you can't eat, talk, take your meds you get very (i mean very) angry at the people closest to you, you feel your life is worth nothing. Then theres the anxiety thats almost crippling. Its not a fun disorder. It has to be diagnosed by a doctor and that can take many years and many misdiagnosis. Please remember that I've only mentioned my experiances, everybody experiances it differently but there are usually alot of us that experiance some of the same things

Do you actually know what bipolar is? That's just normal silly behavior. I act that way--plenty of people of other people do, too. Bipolar disorder is a serious condition where you experience intense emotional highs and lows, as has been mentioned by others. Intense recurring depression and an uncontrollable hyper mindstate can be signs of the condition, but laughing for no reason and acting out of character are just regular things. Besides, only a doctor can really diagnose you. if you start to notice a real problem, go talk to a psychologist, but until then, relax. You do not have a problem.

This at all does not represent anything bipolar. My mother has been diagnosed with bipolar disorder for almost 10 years now. When you have this you go into a manic state where nothing and everything is real if that makes any sense. If you go back and read one of my questions ''Help, my mom is crazy!'' This will explain how a bipolar person acts when she is off her meds. I also want to add that only a dr. can diagnose you with this. It sounds like you are a goofy teen just like I was!!!

I was diagnosed Bipolar almost 2 years ago. In my opinion I'd say you sound pretty normal to me. Everyone has 'moods'. If you were Bipolar, you would have serious bouts with depression. I mean days where you cant even take a shower. And then there are manic days....a thousand thoughts racing, feelings of promiscuity, out of control spending....starting projects that you never finish....the list goes on. I'm no shrink, and if you are worried, go see your family doctor. Good Luck!

Those silly ads in magazines make people think they can diagnos themselves as being bipolar. Everyone has mood swings regardless of mental health. only a doctor can tell you if you're bipolar. If you feel like you're having problems that interfere with your life, then go to a psychiatrist. They can diagnos you. Like I said though it's normal to feel silly and fun one minute and serious the next to a degree.

Bipolar is usually characterized by periods of mania, in which u feel full of energy and r extremely happy and might sleep little. Then u will have periods of severe depression where u might sleep alot, have little energy, and might have thoughts of self harm or suicide. If u think u r bipolar, u need to see a dr.

I hate how people use bipolar as an adjective these days. that is not enough to diagnose you. there are a lot of things behind being bipolar. if you are too concerned, there may be tests online. but you could also get analyzed by a psychologist or psychiatrist.

Fortunately, it doesn't sound anything like bipolor.

What it soulds like is that you are changing....and trying to get used to your different changes....like your hormones racing, and changing you into a more adult human being.

Everyone has crazy ideas at times, and then some write and become authors, some paint and become painters, and some write songs...and become song artists.

Just make sure you make good choices....when your creativity hits....pick a good outlet...but don't stop yourself and call yourself names.....
don't worry, your peers and co-workers will call you plenty of names , and you will have to ignore them...soon enough!
