What are the differences between indoctrination and education.? Many Atheist people want to throw these 2 terms in the same basket, and refuse to acknowledge the important distinction. And they do that to escape the negative implications of the indoctrination they themselves perform on their kids. So, let's clear these up. What are the differences between indoctrination and education? Some hints. In indoctrination you're exposed to one only solution, perspective and point of view, and you're not given the right to question and, thinking critically by your own is forbidden. In education, ones not only provided with information, but also with the methods and tools through which one arrived to the conclusion and result. Questioning and critical thinking are encouraged, not inhibited.

I doubt it, but then I don't call myself "the religious". I believe in God, and that His son Jesus gave His life for my sins. I do not blindly follow any church or any one. I do not vote, chose entertainment or model my life based on any teaching of any church. I do, however have moral standards taught to me by my parents and through life's experiences. I believe in helping out the less fortunate, being kind, being respectful. I believe in Karma, otherwise known as "as you sow, so shall you reap". These are things I learned from many sources, they are true and good, I do not care if a single soul agrees with me, it does not matter, it is still the truth .... so there

Well, one thing I do know the difference between is "religious" and "saved". Be as religious as you want to, it aint gonna help. Instead just ask God to reveal himself to you and he will. Ask him how he wants you to live, he will give you a hunger for his word.
