Yes, you should neuter your dog as not only will it stop him from marking his territory everywhere, it will also stop him from wanting to escape from your property and will also stop him trying to show dominance over people by humping (which is what most un-altered male dogs do).
It will not stop him from having 'accidents' in your house but some basic obedience training will help. It may take a while because Chihuahua's can be VERY stubborn if they have been the 'boss' of the pack since he arrived in your home.

If Pepito is not to be used for breeding purposes (and there are more then enough dogs on this planet needing homes, so in the words of Bob Barker 'spay and neuter your pets'...but yes, having Pepito neutered should help in controling the squirting, but he also needs to be 'trained' not to do this in the house. Little dogs especially can be quite hard to break of this habit but he must be 'corrected' any and every time he does this. Good luck

Yes. Once Pepito is neutered he will most likely stop marking his territory inside the house.
It would be a good idea to get one of the pet smell neutralizers available such as Natures Choice.
As an added bonus neutered and spayed pets general live longer and healthier lives.

Neutering will go a long way to stopping him mark his territory.
You will need to break the habit of leg lifting in house. Also wash the areas where he has pee'd with a cleaner that isn't ammonia based (wee is ammonia based). The cleaning of the areas may even stop him, but allow time for the hormones to get out of his system.
Good luck

If you are not going to breed your dog then yes. Neutered and Spade pets live longer and helps curb some of their natural sexual habits i.e. marking territory and escaping.
I'm not sure how old your parents dog is but if there is a female dog in heat somewhere he will try to escape regardless if he is outdoor or indoor to find her. There are enough unwanted pets.

How old is he? If he is still a puppy, it may stop him but if he is older, probably not. Love the name. One of my chis name is Pepito. Here is a link to a fun chihuahua group.

Neutering a male dog does tend to lessen their tendency to "mark" their territory. So yes, get him neutered it should help.

From my past experience, if you are not going to breed your dog, it is much better to neuter your male dog.

It will help with the urge to "mark" territory, but you will still need to follow thru with corrective training.
