We have a 6 year olf Lab/Pit mix. He has had digestive problems as long as we have had him. The past 2 days he has had a lot of gas and very bloody, foul smelling diarrhea. He is acting normal, eating and seems to be feeling fine. We have 2 other dogs and they are not showing any symptoms at all. When I took him out earlier, it seems that he pooped pure blood. We know that he does NOT have parvo.....Please help!! Thanks

This is really something that you're going to need to see a vet for. I would be really worried if this has never happened before. Possibly is digestive issues have progressed to something more serious and you should see your vet to make sure your dog is okay, or get treatment for it.

Take him to the nearest animal hospital. The dog has internal bleeding and probably will nort survive if not seen by a vet doctor soon.

It seems like your answer is right in front of your face...what would you do if you were pooping pure blood?? GET MEDICAL ATTENTION!! Honestly, the dog can't say it, but he needs a VET!

If it was my dog, we would be at the vet's right now, instead of sitting here at the computer asking a lot of unprofessional people to diagnose your dog's problems. Your dog may be dying.

The color of the blood is very important..Let your vet know what color it is...Red blood comes from the butt part...Black blood comes from.. further up.. like the stomach inside.... that is not a death sentence Tell your vet..They could tell you a course of action...Do not give up...research the web there is a lot of people that will help..Love your dog it will be OK...If you are low on funds..Go on the web people will help....Good Luck..I have a diabetic Dog I did not give up!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

YOU need to take him to a vet, to be checked, could be several things, he obviously has an internal bleed, and this is nothing to be waiting on.
