Point exactly! How can so many still believe that Jesus and God are still the same. There is so much contradiction or confusion with that father and son business. We are all God's children not only Jesus. Why do so many worship the middle man why not go directly to the source? Jesus was not a sacrifice he was murdered, plain and simple. Please start thinking things through. Why should all that burden be put on one MAN? Jesus and God two totally different entities you can not compare a man to a Creator of the universe and all man kind. Peace and love be with you.

He gave his his as a sacrifice for all mankind, for sin, healing, sickness and disease.
God could only speak to mankind on the outside, like you could hear his voice around you, not on the inside. Now we have his spirit on the inside because of Jesus, and the comforter that he gave in Acts the second chapter. Now his spirit can go to all people all over the earth. Anytime , anywhere.
He did forgive in the old testament, for a sin offering, now Jesus was out atonement for sin. So he was the sacrifice for all.
It's a deep thing, you need to do a lot of study to understand the fullness of this. We need no sacrifice now, except that we present our bodies a holy and living sacrifice to God, which is our reasonable service to him, since he died for us.

Without the shedding of blood there is no remission of sin-Heb.9:22. I would highly recommend you read the entire 9th chapter of Hebrews as well as the entire Gospel ofJohn, just for starters. Throughout the Old Testament we read about the blood sacrifices offered for sin and why. These were simply precursers to the perfect, once and for all sacrifice of Jesus Christ. As the spotless Lamb of God and the eternal Only Begotten Son of God, He alone was a worthy sacrifice for the sins of the world -past, present and future. God Himself showed the necessity for the sacrifice of innicent blood for sin when He clothed Adam and Eve in the skins of an animal Himself. An animal had to die for this to occur. It is the blood of Jesus Christ which atomes for sin. The wages of sin is death, but the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord. As God in the flesh, Jesus Christ paid the debt on behalf of all who will believe. IF Jesus Christ hadn't died on the cross -and risen again from the grave- we would all still be in sin and without hope of eternal life. He did this out of love for us and out of necessity. When you commit a crime there is always a punishment. Because of God's holiness a sacrifice hade to be made, so He gave His only begotten Son that whosoever believeth should not perish but have everlasting life. If you are serious about finding out more it's all in the Bible -Old Testament and New Testament

First off, the universe was made for mankind explore and enjoy. But we fell from grace, and so the universe is just sitting out there without us.
Second, who was "God giving up His 'son' for'? For all mankind to seek Jesus as the Redeemer.
Third, why can't God just forgive us? That would contradict his creation of perfection. It's we that fell away, not God. And the influence of Satan on all our lives is mighty indeed. We must willingly seek redemption.

I know it sounds all yadda-yadda-yadda, but it's the assumed text of the Christian persuasion.

The first thing to understand is that God's thoughts and reasonings are all so far from ours that he didn't bother to explain things, His plans for us, etc.in great detail. It would be like talking nuclear physics to a toddler, or even lower. More like talking nuclear physics to an ant.

Suffice it for us to know that he has issued commandments, a lot like instruction manuals for us to follow, so that we can function at our best, and not be broken easily, if we follow his user's guide.

To answer your question, God sacrificed Himself for us. He offered Himself to Himself, in atonement for all the sins of mankind, past, present and those who will still sin in the future. The sin of our first parents earned them and all of us the punishemnt of eternal banishment from heaven. This punishment will seem inconceivable to us, so far-reaching, and so seemingly merciless that we have to think: why didn't he just give them a slap on the wrist.

You have to remember that sin only entered into the world after that original sin, and with that, death, disease and all our human weaknesses and our propensity to sin. Before that, Adam and Eve were spotless, much like the Blessed Virgin, sinless. Their sin was doubly grave because: they were in a state of grace, and were not stained with sin which would have made them weak against temptation, they knew God's instructions to them clearly without the veil of passed-on commandments, they saw God and talked to Him face to face and clearly understood what they would be losing with their disobedience. They understood all this and still they sinned. Their sin was a blatant rejection of God, with no excuse.

We cannot comprehend the gravity of their sin then. The animal sacrifices of the old testament was actually prefiguring the sacrifice of Jesus. When people sinned during that time, they sacrified burnt offererings so that the due punishment would be averted from them. The innocent animal was the one who paid, hence the term sacrificial lamb. So it was with Jesus. He was the one who paid, so that we don't have to. God Himself appeased God's own Justice brought about by that original sin. For what reason? Just because He loves us.

God is also a righteous Judge, and a righteous Judge demands justice be served,or else he is no longer righteous.Sin broke the laws of God,and just as man has laws and penalties for breaking those laws,so does God.The penalty for sin is death.God being just demanded that this penalty be paid. The love that Jesus had for us sinners brought Him down from heaven to pay the penalty. The cost of sin was death,Jesus paid that debt.

God didn't say everything belongs to him. He created everything.

He sacrificed a part of Himself, His son, to teach us a lesson that we didn't learn from His previous lessons. He can and does forgive us, but to teach us a lesson and provide us with some of His wisdom...He sent His son.

He also gave us free will, like the saying...if you love something set it free and if it comes back to you it is your's. He gave us free will to choose, so if you don't want to believe in Him that is your perogative.

It is like children. You "create" them and raise them the best you can but, ultimately, you must let them go off on their own and hope that they take what you have taught them and use it well and be the best they can be.

not to anybody, for all of us. With the sacrifice our sins were wiped away. It was all pre planned, Jesus knew it was coming. It was the ULTIMATE jesture of love.
Remember the bible is a book. Its called bible stories for a reason! It was written by man. I don't expect muslims to believe. Thats their beliefs and they are entitled to that. I'm Christian, and I don't believe in the entire thing.

Yes. God owns this universe. Ages back, God sent some missionaries down to this world to take care of this piece of empty lands. Through time, the missionaires started to explore new stuffs and begins to do thing and actions against the teaching of God. They had thus forgot their task in the worldly lands...Christ had been selected by God to come down to help "remind" and enlight the lost sheeps. To help pull them back to their senses to enable them to return to God's side.
Yes. We are the missionaries. That explains the revoution of mankind, from herbivore, till carnivore, till omnivore, discovery of fire, territory fights....

FROM LAST FIRST. WHY EXPECT US TO BELIEVE WHAT THE MUSLIMS SAY? THE BOTTOM LINE IS TO WALK THRU THE GATES OF HEAVEN. JESUS WAS SACRIFICIED TO PAY FOR OUR SINS, WE'VE ALL SINNED AND FALL SHORT OF THE GLORY OF GOD. ROMANS 3:23 WE ARE SAVED BY GRACE AND GRACE ALONE, LEAST ANY MAN BOAST. EPHESIANS 2:8-9 BY ACCEPTING JESUS AS OUR LORD AND SAVIOUR WE ARE ALLOWED ACCESS INTO HEAVEN. AFTER ALL , THE LIFE WE ARE LIVING NOW IS JUST ARE TEMPORARY LIFE. IT'S WHEN WE LEAVE HERE ARE PERMANENT LIFE BEGINS. WHICH WILL YOU CHOOSE? WHERE WILL YOU BE? GOD BLESS
