Spanking is a good option. Take away their cel phone and ground them for a week. Then move their be home by time up 1 hour and try it again after the grounding time is up. If they miss it again. Repeat removing additional privileges such as computer. Explain to them that a third strike and they are out of privileges until they are 18 and will either comply with house rules or pay rent. Smacking that butt is just as effective and takes less time.

First I call the cell phone and inform he/she that they are late and there will be consequences. Punishment can come in the form of taking away the phone(cell, house), no going out the house, no TV, no computer, or no car. if all else fails a good old fashioned butt whipping will do.

well their is probably not much 'if' in it,its more like 'when' he does not come home by curfew.
so
set you punishment before he does it so that he will know what the consequences are and then stick by them no matter what kind of excuse he gives you.

Well I think it should depend on how much later
If it was over like half an hour late...take away something they like
If they're on the computer a lot, take that away
If they like the phone, take that away
...etc

But if it's only 15 mins or so, just maybe no TV or something they enjoy less
Hope that helps

You ground them for a week or so. Tell them they aren't allowed to go anywhere other than school or work until they can come home ON TIME when they are expected to. If you don't make your kids tell you where they are, who they are with, what they'll be doing, and you tell them what time they need to be home-they'll walk all over you...put your foot down.

well i would strip their room for 1 week ,you know just a bed,no tv,no computer,no playstation no nothing for 1 week. then if they still keep it going then you play jailer and strip the sheets off the bed cause then you tell them they want to end up in jail this is what happens when you are in jail no sheets,no priviledges. this is what i did with my boys and they never broke curfew again. good luck and god bless and happy thanksgiving.

i think that punishement will not solve the problem it's not the best way to solve that situation so may be in my opinion you should talk to him and let him know that it should be confident and trust between you too that if he wants to stay after curfire he must ask for it and you have to decide you should tell him that you trust him but you want him protected

take away driving privliges for a week and ground them the following weekend. then tell them that its a non negotiable rule and stick to it. tell them theres also a 3 strikes rule. 3 strikes and the penalty doubles. if they miss enough driving and weekends with friends it will straighten them out.
