it wont help with pneumonia but may eleviate some of the congestion. antibiotics are better used with pneumonia.

A better choice would be a vicks vaporizer or some other thing you can plug in to help his congestion, vicks makes another product i just cant think of what it is called right now.

I would ask your doctor, I would think a vaporizer would be better but I am not sure if the extra moisture is good for pneumonia, I'm sorry not much help

It should be ok, be sure to keep it covered a vaporizer is a good idea too and a warm bath with "johnson's baby vapor bath" is great as well. I even use it when I'm stuffy.

It should help a lot to alleviate the congestion in your little one's chest. If he has difficulty sleeping, also try patting his sides and back before he goes to bed, to loosen the mucus and make it easier to get out. Also try lavendar pillow spray or lavendar sprigs inside the pillow case. The scent will have a calming effect.

I believe this helps with pneumonia....just makes sure he/she is completely surrounded with heat and in no way exposed to any kind of cold. Good luck and I hope your little one gets better soon!!

they make a vicks for babies, try getting that, its not as strong, but it does work well. I use it on my daughter, and I used it for myself while I was pregnant with my son.
