I need some ideas for an at home birthday party or my 2 daughters who will be 8 and 11...any help would be great..

2. movie/pizza party
3. disco party, get a ball with music and fun alcohol free strawberry drinks/punch
4. beauty party. get a hair dresser or a friend who pretends well to come and do hair and make-up.

tough idea are you having them together, the 11 year old is probably ready for a more grown up party then the 8 year old, both may like a slumber party, when my daughter turned 10 we had a backwards party meaning everyone had to wear their clothes backwards and we had breakfast for dinner and dinner for breakfast, that was a blast, ask them what they like, and see if you could go from their, go online to get some party ideas good luck

I am a tween and you could probably use some advice from a tween herself anyway I would have a Party with music lots of food and lights (if its not to exspensive) and a dance with cool music kids there age like.

What kinds of things do they really like? Design a party around their favorite game, movie, cartoon or book series. Most of those things have websites that would have ideas to help you.
When all else fails:
1. favorite food for lunch
2. go to Michael's and get a craft to do
3. video and popcorn

How about a spa day party with manicures and pedicures (just clean hands and feet and some nail polish), then pizza and munchies, and a Dance, Dance Revolution contest!
