If you knew this was your last day to live would you still be saying you want nothing to do with God or Jesus,,,,,?
or would you be down on your knees asking forgiveness?
i would supect that if you say you would still be set against him,,, then you really are wasting your time answering this question,

So who exactly are you expecting to answer your question?
(For the record I am not "dead set against", I just think there are better things to do with life than prattling on about religion all the time).
If I know when I am facing my death, I would guess I will spend a little time thinking about what happens next - if anything - but down on my knees? No.
I don't buy into this "original sin" crap and I belive I am have done more good than harm on the Earth - so why should a loving deity be too critical of that? If he IS still critical - then at least I didn't waste my time in trying to appease the unappeasable.

I have time to waste, so I'm going to answer the question anyway. I wouldn't want to waste any precious time praying to a non existent god. I would be spending my last day with the people I love and doing the things I love. I come from a Catholic background and I am sick of the 'guilt' complex that religion forces on people. I have nothing to ask forgiveness for. I do not hurt others and I try to live my life the best I can. I think that should be good enough.

It's never a waste of my time to inform you that my religious conviction is no less than yours, and how egotistical of you to believe that it is. Egotistic, the opposite of humble. I believe your god tells you to be humble, right? "Blessed are the meek..."?
No, if I knew this was my last day to live I would call my parents, my siblings, my friends, kiss my boyfriend until his skin was raw, and make sure my cats had a home to go to where they could stay together when I was gone. Then I would wait for my turn to come back down and work on the lessons I didn't learn in this life.
Blessed be!

Oh, it's *never* a waste of time to answer a question!
If this were my very last day...
I would be proud of myself for what I had accomplished, sad at leaving my kids and beloved behind, and pleased that I had lived a life true to my beliefs.
And I would still want nothing to do with god or Jesus.

I am not "set against him." In my long-ish life I've had occasion to believe I would not see the next sunrise. I shared this experience with other young men some many years ago. Most of them thought like you, and indeed did kneel in prayer. But some of us did not. We were no braver then they. They thought of their god, I thought of my loved ones. They prayed for forgiveness, I hoped others would be spared our fate. The only thing I was "against" was the arrogance of those who "knew" they were right about things they couldn't offer an iota of corroboration for.

How about the fact some of us have more & know god wants more for us then to talk about him with every breath! It's fine you have "zoned" in on this one thing.. I think God will keep you on earth for a long time to keep you from driving him freaken nuts in heaven! Live your life good and God will love you without all your crazy harrasment to everyone you meet..

If it were my last day on earth, I'd be hoping there WAS a heaven and a hell, after all, so I'd FINALLY go to hell, to spend an eternity free from your vindictive god.
Now, can you explain how answering this question is a waste of time? I don't get it...
EDIT: Oh, so you mean YOU are wasting YOUR time? Well, yes. Probably.

If I were Chrisitan, I would be on my knees. However, I'm not Christian.
How can Chrisitan beliefs and values be used to prejudge non-Christians? If this is held as truth, then, wouldn't it be true that non-Christian beliefs and values ought to also be used to prejudge Christians? Or, would you presume judgement is in one direction, from within Christianity an focused outward, but never, ever, inward?

So in other words, if our answers don't agree with what you wanna hear then we should not answer them? Why the hell are you asking the question then? Go to your church and ask these silly questions, at least then you will know that everyone will agree with you. Sheesh!!

I love Jesus .
And to u agnostics who say that there no evidence of God i can prove by ur same logic that u dont have a mom for example:I've never met ur mom.I've never seen her.Shes never talked to me.
Then how do u know that u have a mom........ u just know her , just like how i just know God exists because i know him
