Well it goes against our animal nature being with one person...
It's just morals and religion that tells us we should be with one person

If you referring to women, yes you could be single and have lots of ladies, but eventually you get close to one in particular and others seem to be not so important. Then if your ladies fond out you have others, they tend to start trying to make you stay focus on them. After a while, they may be a big burden trying to keep going. So it may be easier to just have one, and enjoying one person instead of trying to please several different ones and its cheaper around birthdays, Valentines, Christmas, all those days that they expect you to be with them. Interesting huh? Good Luck

Well, marraige isn't right for EVERYone, maybe its not right for you. The point of marraige is to share the rest of your life with the ONE person you love. Some people really do want only one person for the rest of their lives. It may not be right for you now, but some day you might meet the right girl, that you want to spend the rest of your life with.

The answer to that is in your level of maturity and in your capacity to give unconditional love to another person. Obviously you are not at this point in your life yet and still in the immature pre adult cycle or just self centred.

Some day, you're gonna meet someone special. And you're gonna feel like a ton of bricks fell on your head. Then you're gonna realize that you can't live without that person. And you'll want to marry them. Then you'll realize how silly your question was.

Talk to couples who have been married for 50+years and are still in love and very happy, they met their soul mates. I have and they had some great advice.

I think when you find the right woman instead of all theese one nighters here and there then you will know why people only want one partner.

most western religions practice monogamy as a sign of pure commitment to ONE person and ONE person only! That is the way it is.

When you find the right person for you and no one else matters-that's the point. You find that person and you won't need to ask.

What's the point of asking this question if you're just going to be single......
Leave marriage to it's own, and go about your business.....
