Heaven and Hell is all a myth, there is no such a thing, human have to believe something of that sort because they are afraid to die, but them soldiers went to a grave under the ground the same as we all going one day, after that just forget it, there is nothing else, we are like a flower open and die, very simple..☺

Being forgiven = humanity because of the cross, does not mean accepting that forgiveness. There may an open door to Baskin and Robbin's Ice Cream, but unless I choose to enter, I'm still left out. Free will requires a choice even if the prize is free.

He was referring to the Jews who condemned Him primarily when He forgave them. The soldiers were simply obeying their commanding authority which had ordered capital punishment of Jesus, that authority was Pilate who received the verdict and sentence from the Jews who shouted "Crucify Him". Pilate washed his hands of the blood of Christ and carried out his orders as was his duty as governor of the region.

Their repentance was necessary for Salvation but they commited no act of sin as soldiers doing their jobs, the only soldiers who carried out the Crucifixion specifically were those that bound Him to the cross, nailed His hands and feet, and erected His cross; He was stabbed after He was already confirmed dead so this was not credited.

Your idea of heaven (I assume), is reconnecting with the Creator.. If this is the case, EVERYONE, but the most vial, wicked people go to heaven... EVERYONE sleeps the sleep of the dead for 11-12 months and then an angel calls their name.. That person is taken back to the Creator.. If the person was vial and wicked during their lives, they will be unable to remember their own name and is CONDEMNED to be reincarnated on earth to conduct their lives in a more G-dly way..

Yes Jesus did ask the Father to forgive us ALL, and that is exactly what he does, he intercedes for us to the Father. But it IS a gift, and you have to accept it.

If they put their trust in Jesus for salvation from sin, they are in Heaven, if not then they lost the greatest opportunity they ever had and they got to see it first hand.
