I just can't stand it anymore ......... i started coming to this section to search some answers about my religion and about other religons too, i mere to broaden my perspective - to be more tolerant towards other. And i just can't stand the amount of hatred present in this section. Yes, there are many exceptions, too. I've met some really great people, with beautiful minds. I just don't get it how can somebody be so twsited to bash other people's beliefs and traditions. That's pure racism, coz they do it out of lack of knowledge and out of desire to learn. Pure hatred is what leads them, and i'm just not strong enough to understand that evil exists in its purest form.
Yes, i know it's not a question. I just felt like taking it off my chest - and no i still don't feel better. I'm pissed off

We're all animals...
Don't pretend like you're any different.... any better than the rest of us: You're not.

We're all biased. We all have our ideals for the world, and there are shedloads of people who just don't fit those ideals.... and don't even think for a moment that you've never considered trying to impose your own ideals on others.... for your own benefit...

We're made to do the best we can for ourselves.... at all costs. If other people get in our way or pose an obstacle to our own progress.... then we will do whatever it takes... be that manipulating them or merely destroying them physically, mentally or emotionally .... to stop them hindering us. If people pose an oppurtunity to improve our own situation, even at their expense.... then we will step in and take it.... we will make them suffer that we ourselves may be elated.

Life is a competition from birth to death.
This way is natural law.

And if you don't fight back... you get trampled into oblivion all the sooner.

You're no different really...
.... And I'm certainly not.
I might have a few quirks.... like an insistance on being 100% honest and straight-forward...... but I would be more than eager enough to mock you and crush all you believe in if it weren't for my curiosity at this very moment to see if you can LEARN from this experience.

Afterall... that which doesn't kill us makes us stronger. If you can become stronger for this and learn to fight back... then you will make a far more interesting and worthwhile challenge in the long run.

Alternatively you could just give in to cowardice and escape this place...... but I will spare no respect for one who would do that.

The choice is yours. Stand and fight or run with your tail between your legs.

It's the nature of human. People have both the so called 'good quality' and 'bad' ones instinctively.

It's the SITUATION that brings which one to come to the surface.

Under certain situations, even the good people will behave badly and even in ways you won't believe they would react in that way. But of course, for some people, their tolerance are greater.

This tolerance depends on their state of mind, which in turn relates to ones personality, education, past experience . . . e.t.c..

I do understand your feeling as I was and still am idealist and perfectionist in nature and at one time I felt frustrated by the truth of human nature after years of experience.

However, we have to accept the truth and to face that. Remember, human do have the good things too.

Finally, when you think in depth (if you are a philosophical person), you will understand that there is no universal goodness or evil and there is always a continuum of grey area between them.

There is no absolute goodness or wrong. All depends on the SITUATION, i.e. the external factors and values of the observer.

My conclusion on this fact is that we human can at least try to build a society to bring out or encourage the good side of our human nature by different ways (e.g. through our behaviour towards others), so that each individuals can interact with each other harmoniously in the world.

As I have said, I am an idealist. :-)

I don't know what EXACTLY you are talking about. I mean, if you call hatred those who really are haters, or just those who say I don't agree. There is a difference, of course. Anyway, I don't see here anything that I cannot see in 'real life'. Religions ARE a very tough topic, and people have very strong opinions about them. It's almost inevitable that there was going to be more bashing and more intolerance here than at Gardening, for example. That doesn't justify anything, of course. I'm just describing what I see. Not condoning it.

Azra, agree with much of the above and don't be driven away from the forum by an obviously lost and tortured soul dumping their issues wherever they think they can cause hurt and upset and feel somehow better about themselves by doing that. As for pure evil, I feel it is more a case of a great deal of ignorance and fear, all the hallmarks of an immature bully of a personality. Read a lot of support for you and I hope it encourages to to stay with the forum or you hand a little victory to this fool.

Don't feel so bad or agitated. There will always be hatred or ignorance used regarding religious practices or anything that differentiates from a particular person or a group of people. I myself, with respect to my own faith have come to this forum to express my ideas in a meaningful and yet respectful way. There are some that use this arena to stir fights, preach disrespectful remarks to appease their corrupted, selfish ideologies. Don't focus on that. Focus on the half that have a desire to learn and teach their own wisdom and virtues. By stressing over ignorant people your giving them more energy and your losing momentum to ask real questions to real people.

Dont take things so personally, i think this is such a good way of letting of steam and speaking your mind, at the end of the day you are faceless and people wouldnt know you if you passed them on the street the comments arent aimed at you as an individual so just try and take it lightheartedly as its meant, though alot of people do answer genuinely so you may get alot of insight from those, just dont be so susceptable to remarks that arent personal

Listen.. if anyone has upset you..then I am sorry about that for you.

But a lot of people on here like to help.

So a big hug to you..

don't be angry or upset.. just accept that sometimes a mind hasn't got the intelligence to answer a question that might go against something they believe in. Simply because they are regimented too much to think for themselves............ EVERY religion does that.

.lol oo-er will get some comments about that..

they really dont know any better
you cant get made at crazy people ,they hope to break your faith ,that way they feel much better it encourages them more the more you react
let them have thier own sins ,dont fret about them ,by thier deeds you will know them ,they want nothing but our attention learn to let them be , there is evil every where try to look evil in the face and say bless you ,dont think bad of those fools ,they believe nothing and are only finally happy when they are noticed
the only thing they know is sad ,they really have enough problems they continue to pile onto them selves ,until,l they realise its not working they will keep on trying to do the same thing over ,and over again ,when they see a post like this they get energy they feed off ,they really enjoy stealing jesus and god away from you
you live the truth ,they want to live a lie ,its only for you to try and then leave it to god ,the sooner you ignore them the sooner they find a new amusment ,god will not be moked ,even using thier words gives them power ,thats how evil works by changing you a little bit by a little bit till you talk thier talk and walk with them straight to wherever they will of freechoice end up falling to
they will use every truick they can from horrible pictures to horrible names dont be tricked ,evil has no pure form it can pretend but when it is discovered let it alone ,like the weeds in a field of wheat let god pull em out
ans you did ask many questions ,remember there is one true answer to all of them love them they know not what they do.
they really dont ,the koran says quite clearly those god wishes to destroy he first makes insane
so believe in jesus and pray for thier lost souls, then forget about them ,when the questions are all bad ask a good one ,there is more good than bad ,and if you cant think of a good one search the answered questions ,lots of good answers there too
never look upon a mans nakidness means dont notice thier faults ,cause judging a fault is a judgment ,let god be the only judge.
peace be upon you

It says in the good book, "Blessed are the pure at heart." The thing is that a persons religiosity should not depend on others. Observe the hypocrites and learn.

Personally, I find the condoning and condemning attitude of religious people a pain in the butt. Even above, one answerer refers to a non-believer as a "lost and tortured soul". Really? I'll bet he or she is neither lost or tortured. And I've been accused of "insulting God" because I don't believe in him. A religious person tells me I'm being insulting because I don't believe in the same mythical thing as them??? This is the kind of pompous and bombastic talk that religious people use to talk down to others who don't share their beliefs. It annoys the hell out of me, because logic and common-sense shows who are the ignorant ones.
