Honestly, you can meet billions of people and get tons of historical knowledge. The devil doesn't sound like such a horrible guy, I believe he is a victim of the mass media just like Muslims and pagans.

Has anyone ever meet the devil or been in hell? How are you so certain that they are so horrible and such if you've never been there?

I am not satanic and don't even believe in such fairy tales but I feel kind of bad for Satan and hell.

Please Christians explain what is so bad about hell?

P.S. don't give me that garbage of burning in an eternal pit of fire. I seriously think that's a way to scare children because psychologically fire, demons and being torture is a deterrent for any locale.

Heaven according to the bible sounds pretty homosexual to me. Everyone is “happy” playing harps with a bunch of child molesting priest and religious fanatics arguing over if Jesus was god or the son of god.

Well, think of fire that is seven times hotter than any flame on earth, falling and burning. That is what hell is.

Really now, the flame on earth doesn't even compare to the flame on our sun which doesn't even come close to a proton star. So how hot is hot?

Why? May I ask, you want to believe all the fairy-tale that Christendom has created? Go to the book that is the base of their believe, the Bible and see for yourself if what they say is true.

As an example:
Turning to the book of Genesis, we read about the creation of the earth, seas, fish, animals and even the sun and the moon. Yet nowhere do we read about God’s creating a special underworld compartment for the broiling torment of man. It seems strange that, if he made one, God did not have recorded in the Bible the creation of such an important place as a burning hell. Yet suppose he did make one. Would not Jehovah’s love and justice have moved him to warn Adam of the full penalty of sin? Jehovah told Adam the consequence of sin was death. Are we really to think that, after Adam sinned, Jehovah changed his mind about the death sentence and decided to give Adam the torture treatment? The Bible answers: “I, Jehovah, change not.”—Mal. 3:6, AS.

John vividly describes the outcome: “But fire came down out of heaven and devoured them. And the Devil who was misleading them was hurled into the lake of fire and sulphur, where both the wild beast and the false prophet already were.” (Revelation 20:9b-10a) Rather than being merely abyssed, this time Satan, the original Serpent, will actually be crushed out of existence, pulverized, completely annihilated as if by fire.

Good question and I did rate it as such. You see in my opinion its all in a point of view.

I do seem to see that most of the mankind on the planet called earth do want to go to Hell after death so I guess if one took a vote, you might get more votes on your side and as far as I know in America anyway the majority still rules unless there is a lot of cheating.

I am convinced that all who do go there want to go there for that is the way I do read that Book I study a lot. I see in love one does hang on and try not to let go if the object of the love wants to be hung on to. However on the other side of real love the loved will let go in pure love if the object of the love wants to be let go to love another or something else.

I personallly do not see the Hell spoken of in that Bible I read as such a desirable place thus my choice is not to go there. However that decision is not mine to make for I am not in control of this system. I am just a pawn or tool in this system and will of course accept what does come in the future or tomorrow as some want to say.

My opinion of Hell not being such a great place is not because of the fire and brimstone that the so called Christians talk about. My opinion is because I do not see anything desirable for me in the ruler and King of Hell, the Devil. What he has to offer as a reward to me is not tempting thus I strive for the love of My God and His son Jesus the best I can OK.

My friend you can have your own opinion and I will rspect it for I know all coins do have two sides and there is another side to a fence OK. You have yours and let me have mine and we both can be happy. No matter what side of the fence one is on, at times the other side does look better.

So just smile and know I will approve of your decision and cast my vote for you OK. Hava a good day.

Hell- A place with nothing but pure torture. Flames so hot your body should be consumed, but its not. Indescribable agonizing pain and torture, that it will humble you for a moment and you will wish to send a message to warn everyone not to come here and to do anything to avoid it. So awful you would not wish this to your worse enemy

I really wish you could understand and except your Father, but the truth can not be force upon you. God Bless. Love.

well, for one, you burn up and die. You are not tortured, and you don't meet new people. Satan made the choice in the beginning to rebel against God, and you'll see what's gonna happen to him when the Lord comes to save the loyal ones and destroy all evil. You will see. When God destroys evil, He destroys all of it, including Satan (devil). You can think what you want, but it's is written, in the holy word of God called the Bible, that He will devour all evil, and if you don't want to beleive that, fine. But you will see. I promise, you WILL see.

may God richly bless you, and I deffinatly will pray for you :)

I KNOW THAT THIS IS LONG, BUT PLEASE READ IT! I've actually met a person whom God took to hell at 3:00 in the morning one day for 23 minutes. You might not believe his story, but what's important is that you accept Christ and avoid hell. He described it as smelling of burning flesh, brinestone, sulfur, and every putrid rotten thing being held close to your face all the time down there. At the same time however, the air is to thin and though the air is to putrid to breathe in the first place, you never get enough of it and you're gasping the whole time. There are also demons in hell that look like ever abominable creature that you can ever imagine and contribute to the rotten smell in hell because they are thilthy and unbathed themselves. You are powerless against them and they torture you in every disgusting way they can and run your life in hell. You are also exhausted in hell all the time, so you don't even have the pleasure of trying to fight these demons that are typically 13 or 14 feet tall and much stronger than you. They hate you with a stronger hatred then what Hitler, Saddam, or any human could ever hate because they hate God and you are made in God's image. They can flay you, crush your bones, rip your flesh, or chop you to pieces, but you never die. These creatures are the lowest form of existence versus humans who are the highest form of God's creation, but they run your life and they know nothing but their hatred for you and God. these creatures have zero IQ, and zero mercy. They only know how to harm things. What's even worse are the pits of fire where billions burn. Although the torture and pain that the demons can inflict upon you are dreadful beyond imagination, the fire of hell is much worse. The victims flesh is continually burning and growing back in the fire and they are also screaming at the top of their lungs the whole time despite the thin and putrid air. If you've ever heard a sharp scream in a horror movie and felt really uncomfortable, you can take that times a million and that's what echos through the caves of hell all the time. If you try to crawl out of the pits, there are demons who are chained to the walls above you that push you back into the pit. They have no control over anything in hell, including their own torment, so they try to control and torment you. You're also always thirsty and you're throat is always dry. If you can think about running a marathon through Death Valley, that is how dry your through is all the time. But there is not water and no life in hell. Even when you are cut open ore eaten by insects and worms, no blood is shed for blood is the source of life and there is no life in Hell. There are also maggots in hell who eat through your flesh as if you were dead, but you never die and your flesh just keeps being eaten and replenished forever and ever. You are also naked in hell so you feel shame, and you always feel lonely beyond measure because other sould who have perished to hell are kept from you and you aren't allowed to fellowship. The only fellowship that takes place is between you and demons and you are so scared of the demons that you don't even want to encounter them Just another thing you have to feel and put up with. Fear! You never feel a single feeling of pleasure. Only pain, heat, shame, lonliness, sadness, and most of all, despair, for all eternity. The scariest thing is that there is no hope or love in Hell. The bible says that where there is the presence of God, there is hope, peace, and love. but God's presence isn't in hell, and so you never have the chance of ever getting out and they are also always separated from God. That's the scariest thing about hell. You know that there is absolutely no light at the end of the tunnel. There are billions of souls in hell right now that are being tortured forever and would do anything for a second chance, but it is already to late for them. Luckily, Jesus can save you from that if you would just let him in your heart. I'm sure that you will make the right decision.Remember that God wills nobody to go there. God hates that place and prepared it for the devil and his angels. Not mankind. If you ask him into your heart right now, the contrast of your final destination is overwhelming. I don't have enough time to describe Heaven to you, but I hope to see you there. Peace! and God Bless!

Hell-Luke 16:22 And it came to pass, that the beggar died, and was carried by the angels into Abraham's bosom: the rich man also died, and was buried;
Luke 16:23 And in hell he lift up his eyes, being in torments, and seeth Abraham afar off, and Lazarus in his bosom.
Luke 16:24 And he cried and said, Father Abraham, have mercy on me, and send Lazarus, that he may dip the tip of his finger in water, and cool my tongue; for I am tormented in this flame.
Luke 16:25 But Abraham said, Son, remember that thou in thy lifetime receivedst thy good things, and likewise Lazarus evil things: but now he is comforted, and thou art tormented.
Heaven-The Bible really doesn't go into specifics about heaven. Why? Because "eye has not seen, nor ear heard, nor have entered into the heart of man the things which God has prepared for those who love Him" (1 Cor 2:9). Our minds simply cannot comprehend the glory that awaits us. "Then I saw a new heaven and a new earth, for the first heaven and earth passed away, and there was no longer any sea. I saw the Holy City, the New Jerusalem, coming down out of heaven from God, prepared as a bride beautifully dressed for her husband. And I heard a loud voice from the Throne saying, 'Now the dwelling of God is with men, and He will live with them. They will be his people, and God Himself will be with them and be their God. He will wipe every tear from their eyes. There will be no more death or mourning or crying or pain, for the old order of things has passed away.' He who was seated on the Throne said, 'I am making everything new!'" - Revelation 21:1-4
But while it's true we don't know the details about heaven, the Bible does give us a general idea. What we discover is absolutely mind- blowing! "Dear friends, now we are children of God and what we will be has not yet been made known. But we know that when He appears, we shall be like Him." (1 John 3:2)
When we enter heaven will be changed physically and spiritually. John tells us we will be like Jesus. What will that be like? Here are a few things the Bible tells us:
WE WILL NO LONGER SIN ,WE WILL NOT BE SUBJECT TO THE LAWS OF PHYSICS,WE WILL STILL EAT AND TOUCH ,WE WILL NEVER BE SICK AGAIN,WE WILL RECOGNIZE ONE ANOTHER,WE WILL HAVE DEEPER RELATIONSHIPS! Revelation 21:2-3 tells us we will have a new home called "New Jerusalem". Jerusalem means, "city of peace". This New Jerusalem is massive! It will be about 1,500 miles wide, 1,500 miles long, and 1,500 miles high. (Revelation 21:15-16). That would make this huge city roughly the size of the moon. The city will have 12 gates with the names of the twelve tribes of Israel written on them. The foundation will be twelve layers to it with the names of the twelve apostles written on them. (Revelation 21:12-17)
And the entire city will be made of gold and jewels.
The walls will be made of pure diamond and the city of pure gold - clear as glass (Revelation 21:18). The foundation will be filled with precious stones (Revelation 21:19-21). As God dwells in this city, the light from His glory will shine through these stones producing a brilliant rainbow of colors! Can you imagine such a sight?

I think it has to do with all the PAIN & AGONY. The WEAPING & KNASHING OF TEETH! You won't meet people there and enjoy a party. The idea is that its a place for punishment for sin, not a haven of fun and interesting people.

Let me just ask you this, WOULD YOU LIKE TO LIVE IN A LAKE OF FIRE WHERE THE FIRE NEVER GOES OUT??????
