I have photoshop 7.0 and I use it to edit photos before putting them on my website. I have used less expensive programs before but none of them seem to have the option to "save for the web" which makes them a little less 'dense' and more pixelated so to speak in order for them to upload more quickly. I have ever explored 'lesser' versions of photoshop and I did not see where this option was available. Does anyone know of any other program that has this feature and that costs less money than the professional version of photoshop? I can't imagine that this is the only program that can do this and that all people who have websites use this programs for their images.

Sure, here is a FREE software that can do this ,in addition you can sign up for a Free web space to upload the photos " 1000 photos" all for FREE here : http://downint.googlepages.com/photosoftware

this way you host your photos on other servers free and just paste the URL to your own site , isn't that great.
