Life is what we make it. No one can make you happy. Happier sure.. but not happy.. you are in control of your happiness. I think you need to work on being happy by yourself before subjecting a gf to you. If you're unhappy how are you going to make someone else happy?

You might be happier if you had a lady in your life. However you shouldnt rely on someone else to make you happy. Thats alot to put on another person and it could have bad results if you do get into a relationship. Your best success with a girlfirend will be if you learn to make yourself happy first. Then instead of worrying about finding someone to make you happy you can find someone who you can make happy too. Life always fgeels better when someone loves you but dont rely on that love to make life better. If you get a chick then break up you could be more unhappy than before, thats not good. I know its hard but learn to be happy with you first. The rest will fall into place.

Maybe there were lots of other good things going on in your life, besides the gf, that made you think it was cool
a gf is the easiest way to drain your wallet, but sex with a gf, is better than sex by yourself.
try to meet a chick that meets all of your criteria for a good woman, dont just be desperate to get any old broad, you will be far worse off if you do

Oh I don't think having a girlfriend makes your life better....it sounds to me that maybe you are in a Better state of mind WHEN you have a girlfriend.
