Yes I have 3 kids and one on the way. My oldest son is 9 , my 2nd son is 7 and my 3rd son is going to be 3 at the end of the month. The 9 and 7 year old do alot together , but fight constantly too. The difference between the two older boys and the 3 year old is too much I think. Now my daughter will be 3 1/2 years younger than my younges. I think 2 to 3 years is far enough apart. They need to be slightly close in age to enjoy one another.

Rhett is 8
Heath is 5
As to what age a child should be before you have another one, it depends. I didn't want a bunch of kids running around in diapers, so we waited until each was potty trained or at least well on the way. Some may say that ours are too far apart, some may say they are not far enough apart. For us this worked out well & all three are close & they get along very well.
So, it's pretty much up to you. Personally, I would NOT want to be pregnant & still be packing a toddler around, etc.

I have 2 boys, they are almost exactly two years apart. It's a good spacing, I think. It was a little trying when I was very pregnant with the second because the first wanted to be held a lot and was going through a needy time. He had just turned 2 when the baby was born. Also, it was tricky juggling the two when the baby was a newborn. My 2 year old needed a lot of attention too. But now the baby is turning 1 and the older one is turning 3 and they are starting to play together. It's very cute. (Of course the older one doesn't always want to share his toys...) I think they will be good friends growing up though.

i have a 3 year old and a 10 year old. I was 21 when I had the older one and so we waited to get careers going before 2nd child. The big age gap is great so far. They play together mostly made up games and for the most part get along great. My 3 year old worship my 10 year old and my 10 year old really looks out for his little bro. It's nice. Just my own experience.

I have 4 sons. Alex is 8, Tripp is 5, Ethan is 3, and Jake is 1. We are planning to conceive again in January. There are alot of factors to look over before deciding to have another child. Financial, emotional, mental, and physical are just the tip of the iceberg. Both parents,as well as any older children still living at home, must truly be ready for another baby. You must be healthy, and children must be healthy in general. ( If your child is ill, you will need alot of strength for both your older child, and then the new baby). Honestly, you will know when the time is right. If there are doubts, then wait awhile. Families of any size are wonderful!

I only have one child, he is 11 years old. Its nice and quiet at my house. lol I think about 3-4 years would be good, that way you don't have 2 in diapers at the same time. Also the older child will be old enough to want to help out with the new baby.

Yes , I have two girls. Ages 6 and almost 5. They are 15 months apart. It was nice having them that close. They play together nicely, share clothes, have some of the same interests. I am pregnant with my third one and there will be 5 years between my youngest daughter and the new baby.

All ages have their ups and downs. I have a 5 month old and a 2 1/2 year old. It is rough now but I hear it will be great soon! when I say it is rough I mean because it is alot of work. My son (2 1/2) loves his baby sister (5 months). It is so fun to see them interact... she laughs at him all the time!

I have to children. My first was 3 when I had my second. My sister had her two 1 year apart and if you have a ton of patients that is fine, but I glad I waited.
Also you must think of the cost, 2 in diapers at the same time ouch!!!!!!That takes a lot of $$$$$$$$$$$$. And cuts into the sleep a hole lot.
