Diet pills purport to speed up your metabolism and help you burn more calories faster or are diuretics which basically help you loose water. However, if you note, diet pills always come with the caveat "to beused in conjunction with healthy diet and exercise". This is the equivalent of saying they don't work.

You're better off sticking with healthy eating and exercise to achieve some long-term goals rather than a quick fix. Good luck!

Their have been many advances made in this area. Some positive many more negative. DO NOT go over the counter or on the street. See your doctor he may prescribe something IF you really need it. More likely he will have you consult a dietician.

improving diet (not diet) and increasing exercise are your best bet, but it definately wont hurt to talk to your doctor.
