Here is a great website to check out:

Also, I suggest you talk to your doctor. Ask for some documentation stating that you are fit to return to work and that you are not contagious. I personally would also collect information so you can inform your coworkers what MRSA is. I hope that helps. Take care.

Depends where you work. With kids, elderly, in close contact. It can Kill someone with a surpressed immune system and is Very contagious to ther if not haddled just right. i would recommend waiting if you can. It's not somthing you'd want to give anyone-- it just awful--as you might know. You can also seek legal action from the hospital over it. There's a chance you got it from a nurse or Dr. who has it and gave it to you!

(I saw a house condemed because a womean died there who had MRSA.)

Be very careful around family and friends keeping your clothes and towels seperate from others who might use them. You'd be surprised how sub-conscieously you can touch your arm, then cross-contaminate a tv remote or phone. It can also spread like wildfire--use extreme care

I'm not surprised your work is hesitant about this-- i would be too if i was your boss or co-worker. Expecially since your sharing comon space such as bathrooms, ect.
