But what is it about sorghum that causes this? With wool on my skin, I am allergic to the texture and the lanolin oils. Yet I can wear cashmere and angora.

don't eat anymore of that . you can sure be allergic to wool the other person is way off on that . if you have some of this sorghum and its what you would say is pure meaning you don't have reason to think anything else got on it then you can take a
pin heat it with flame scratch your arm put some tiny amount of the sorghum on there and cover it with a cloth bandage that is for sure clean . another way is to use tape but if you do that you have to do the same test with the tape too .
you will know after a nights sleep if your allergic to something if you find swelling and or redness the more of each the more allergic you are to the thing . hives and blisters are a bad sign
and you could end up with a big problem breathing if you were to keep eating the allergen

You're having a reaction to the sorghum or something in it. Don't eat it again.

Stay away from sorghum. You need to talk with a doctor. Your reactions could turn fatal.

You are indeed allergic to sorghum. And if I remember correctly, cashmere and angora come from different animals than wool.

there's no such thing as being allergic to a texture...and yeah that should be an allergy or else its something else that's in what u r eating...allergies r ur body's misreading the thing as something harmful to you, and then there is an allergic reaction

you have your own answer you are allergic to it the only way to know if you eat something once & break out try it again latter if the same reaction then you solved your own problem i say try it again because maybe the first batch was bad
