I don't know, but I certainly hope it's not 6.
Mohammed married Aisha when she was 6-years-old and consummated his marriage with her when she was 9.

Age is not a main prequisite to get married in Islam. There are several things are being taken into account where age is not an important. Some of them are - maturity, responsibility, capability and etc...
I do agree that our Prohet Muhammad SAW, do marry Aishah as early as 6. But, he leaved Aishah with her parents until she really managed to carry a responsibility as a wife and a mother. That's why, she came to live with him at 9 after being trained by her parents ; Abu Bakr as Siddiq.
Muhammad SAW married 10 wives and some say more than that. This is the speacialty that being granted by Allah only for him to show that he's a messenger from God; there is a verse in Holy Koran. Look at his first marriage, he's 25 and Khadijah is 40. There is no age restriction, the main thing is your capability to carry those responsibilities as the leader of the family.
I don't agree with those people who think that Muhammad SAW get married for his lust. If, he want that, he'll marry only virgins. Only Aishah is a virgin and others are widows. The logic behind, why Allah told him to marry those womens is to teach man to become a good husband. Of course, those 10 wives got their own styles, characters and habits. So, our Prophet are trying to guide man to lead a variety of woman; wife.

Women:
1) When they are able to bear a child
2) When they are able to take care of the household
3) When the parents allow the doughter to be married
4) When the age is not of a taboo age of the culture within a community (example: Japan around 23, Americas around 17, China around 24, Indonesia around 17, Europe around 16, India around 16, etc.
Men:
1) When they hit puberty
2) When they can support the family financially
2) When the parents allow the son to be married
4) When the age is not of a taboo age of the culture within a community
These are all in my words. Hope this helps.

My grandfather got married with my grandmother when she was 12. But he did not touch her until she reached puberty at 14. That was more than 70 years ago. Nowadays, people get married at later ages.. with 18 as the earliest for girls. There's no law, but this is the customs here.

as soon as they are mature enough to get married.
there's no specific age!! what does christianity say?
it depends on law of the land some countries make 16 years old the minimum age of marriage with the parents acceptance being necessary. 18 years old you're considered an adult and can do whatever you want.

I am not sure now how old they have to be
but i take it this was linked to your previous question about Mohammed's wife
what you have to realise is that in that day it was common practise for people to marry young
often they were promised the first born of a family
and this in various religions and cultures not just Islam xx

When a girl reaches puberty, which differs for girls. It does not mean they HAVE to marry at that age though. They should marry when they want to and when they are ready, not when they are being forced. Forced arranged marriages are not Islamic by the way.
Boys and girls are encouraged to be married at a relatively young age (late teens, early 20s) to prevent sexual promiscuity.

well there you have it folks! No real answers at all from our muslim 'community'- merely evasion, lies and failing that abuse and threats. I seriously think that apart from being reported (deported?) for abuse, the respondent called 'PKSTN' is in serious need of therapy! The question is, are there any reasonable muslims out there willing to engage in a civilized dialogue and have the guts and moral conviction to compromise just a miniscule part of their entrenched beliefs?
