how would PTD manifest in this way? what woud be the symptoms.

I've never gotten ptsd from an ocd that I've had before but I have experienced the opposite. I had always had problems with anxiety and mild ocd but it got much worse after I had a traumatic experience coming home one afternoon 2 years ago (I walked in on an intruder, there was an altercation). I never got over it and I developed extreme ocd type behavior involving leaving the house and coming home. It's definitely added to my stress and overall depression. I would have been less aware of my ptsd if it wasn't for the disruptive ocd I developed. So in a way, it made me realize I had ptsd.

I had SERIOUS OCD starting around 11 years ago.More "O" than "C".Anyway.I also have been a part of a support group,off-and-on, through the years. AS FAR AS i KNOW, NO ONE has mentioned PTSD. But, that doesn't mean it couldn't happen,probably. Let me ask the leader of our group,and she if se knows anything. I live in Ohio.

You know, I've thought about that.
I've felt a lot of emotional trauma because of my OCD. I think it's probably possible.
