i think that it is more sad than anything else. that poor woman is terrified that her child is slipping away from Christ.
She isn't founded in the understanding that , yes, there are powers and principalities that we war against, but we have been made "hupernikao" (more than conquerors) in Christ. That is a phrase that was written by a man who saw the arm of the Roman Epire spreading across the world, consuming and assimilating anything that it touched. He saw the conquering first hand and said that in Christ we are more than that.
The truth is, if she raises her son in the knowledge and understanding of the fact that Christ is life's solution and that He loves every person and desires them to come to Him, then she should accept the fact that we are more than conquerors and should not worry about the rest of the war. We have already won.

Well to answer you; I have to say that children are more in tune to the spirit world than we are, and just because some bozo lied to them about the "monster" or "ghost" that they felt the presence of and desensitized them to the spirit world when they believed the lie doesn't mean that they are not really there. What the woman should have said was what is the truth..there will always be spirits that try to change us and make us afraid, but God will protect us..that is what she should have said. You can gently tell children the truth and not freak them out in the process. As for you maybe you need to take a look at some "haunted places" and things they have evidence of on camera. Spirits are real, but we do not have to fear them.

I believe that was the wrong thing to do. The best thing to bring your child to God is by setting the right standard at home, also by giving them a solid foundation upon which they can build their livs, dreams and conviction.
What she needs to do, instead of scaring her children, is planting a seed of the gospel. The verse that I'm thinking of is from Proverbs " Train up children the way he should go, and when he is old, he will not depart from it."
I believe on this verse, so if the child learns to turn from sin and to trust in Jesus when he is young, as he grows older, he will not depart from his savior because God has already set him apart for God's own glory.
The other verse that I can think is Deut 6:1-7 "These are the commandments which the Lord your God commanded you. And you shall teach them dilligently to your children, and shall talk of them when you sit in your house, and when you walk by the way, and when you lie down, and when you rise up."
So teaching your child the 10 commandments as a start, to awaken their conscience and prepare the soil of their hearts for the live giving seed of gospel.
Galatians 3:24 " The law is our school master to lead us to Christ"
Romans 7:7 "I would have not have know what sin was except through the Law"
Once a child understand what sin is, he/she will need forgiveness, and the good news about Jesus taking punishment in the cross for us will make more sense.
Romans 5:8 " God demonstrated His own love for us in that while we were still sinners, Christ died for us. "
John 3:16 "For God so loved the world He gave His only Son, that whoever believe in Him will not be perish but have everlasting live."
Repentace.. Teach them about that, repentace is simply a determination of turn away from what is wrong. Tell them that Jesus love them, and will give them a new heart once the surrender their hearts to Jesus. Help them to begin to love God and obey God.
I guess that's all I can say. It work all the time with my 'adopted niece'. So.. hope it will work for them too.
SCARING THE CHILDREN ABOUT DEMON,IT"S JUST GOING TO MAKE THE CHILD BITTER ABOUT GOD.
Because he /she will got the wrong impression about Christianity. It's not about demon. It's about how God love them.
For God's Glory

I didn't see the question that you referred to here, so, I cannot comment on that, can I?
I suppose that if we were to go by your narrative, one would have to say the lady is going well overboard and I suppose that's the purpose of this whole exercise of yours.
I hope this makes you happy, since it's rather evident that a lot of you who are not Christians seem to take a lot of trouble to discredit and bash the Christians, even making up false IDs and posting seemingly "Christian" origininating "Questions" and then answering them yourselves.
I really wonder what could possible be the reason why we are being given such honor?

I didn't get to see the question, but the tactic sounds horrible to me. Abusive at the very least and at best, plain stupid. Fear is only a motivator for a while. And it just about guarantees her child will grow up to reject god entirely. (And it just may be an indicator of how this woman is as a parent.)

The phrase God has only children and No grand children applies. If she really knows God , she should not worry, the example of the life she has would suffice. Bear in mind the promise whom ever believes in him river of ALIVE water shall flow form with in. This is a charachteristic of the abundace of LIFE real christians have with in themselves, the question is are they looking for this. This promise should impact ALL areas of life, parenting, relationships, etc.
Any ways she messed up real bad!!!!!!

How in the world does she think that this will work in getting her son to believe. If any thing she will damage him for life. She should not be allowed to have any more children and she should have this one taken from her. I don't know about you but I consider that to be mental abuse. How can she think that God approves of that. She sounds like one whacked out woman!

Thats crazy, I have no idea what would make someone behave like that. I want the world to accept Jesus as their Savior but lying is not the will of God.

I think that she should have just read the Bible, it is the best parenting guide ever! No, you should not try to guilt or force someone into a religion, instead, raise the child correctly and give them choices, just like God gave us choices.
