i am looking for plans to make a wankel motor some thing small like the ones for rc planes. i am in a machine shop at school and looking for a class project but the plans we have are for reagular sungle piston engins just looking for some thing diffrent

Hi. Not to discourage you but the shape and sealing of a Wankel rotary engine are a bear! Good idea though. Power to weight is good and an R/C does not have to meet emissions. It is possible : http://www.berkeley.edu/news/berkeleyan/2001/04/10_cmbus.html

wankel motors aren't "small". They're used in diesel trucks. Try a two-stroke
