There really isn't a best software that will completely uninstall an application. There used to be software that claimed to uninstall applications, I think it was called Windows Cleaner or something similar but that software is no longer being produced. The best thing you can do right now is use Windows built in Add/Remote Programs feature to uninstall the application. Once that is done go into C:\Program Files\ and look for the application's folder in there and delete it. Then run a registry cleaner to get rid of all the unneeded keys in the registry. One program which will help clean the registry as well as Windows is CCleaner. I have used it a couple of times and it works very well and will not mess up your system. Click on the link below for more information about that product. And its free!

It depends on what you are trying to remove. Most programs can just be uninstalled in your control panel which you can access from hitting start. If it is a trojan or virus you will need agood antivirus/spyware program. Lots of good free ones out there like avast. But you should be able to uninstall them from control panel. Always remeber to defrag and disk clean. It is key. Good program like registry cleaner always helps to keep windows running smooth and cleans unwanted files left behind from uninstalling that are left in windows registry. Hope this helps some.

Start / Settings / Control Panel / Add Remove Programs does it.
