Men and women with heart, courage, and the willingness to put their life at risk to keep you safe. They have wives, children, mortgages, bills, and a car that is several years old.
They are usually physically active, above average shooters, and grossly underpaid.
Not everyone can work in law enforcement. It takes something unusual to race to danger as a profession. These people are often in the military, law enforcement, paramedics, and/or firemen.

I work for a city. Not the police. The swat guys get ice from our ice machine. The all are short. All are male. All are white. All wear black. All have cables that run from their belts to the bottom of their guns. And ALL do not talk to you!
