I prefer to stay at home and watch tv/play guitar/read/internet and im than go out with my friends or basically anywhere. I want to have someone telling me what to do. I hate doing things that i haven't been taught how to do. The last thing in the world i would want to do is start my own business. I want to be a doctor, and i want to work in a hospital, and i don't want to have my own office, because then i wouldn't have a boss. I have a lot of fun just hanging out at home with my brother, doing boring things like watching funny shows and then cooking/cleaning or somthing. I'm 16.

You're not weird, you're a submissive introvert like most people. The reason you might think you're weird is because the rest of the introverts don't get out much, either, so you don't run into them.
The good news is, being easily content means you shouldn't have a hard time enjoying the aspects of life a lot of people find mind-numbingly boring.

I don't think you are weird. I do think it's great that you want to be a doctor. So, my question is this-how do you plan to be a doctor when it involves leaving the house, going to the office or hospital, and interacting with lots of different people (ie. staff, nurses, patients, etc.)? It sounds as if you are avoiding the opportunity to be social and you will definitely need social skills to become a doctor. Maybe you should focus less on staying home and watching tv and participate more with friends and family and learn how to be sociable. Good Luck!

You sound very stable for your age. This is a good thing! It's a shame that being normal seems weird. Some people are leaders, some are followers- both are good. It's the people who are followers but are too arrogant to listen to anyone else who get into big trouble in life. Keep working toward your goals. A goal without a plan is only a wish.

It sounds like you might actually turn out to be one of the few women who would make a good wife. It takes a LOT of character to respect your husband instead of running his life.

you are not weird, ur just a homebody! i am too :) but try to be more social and call ppl up for a change. that will keep u from becoming isolated. but i too stay home often rather than going out, its just what i would really prefer to do. and it is okay that u do not wish to be a buisnessman. follow YOUR interests and settle for nothing less. if u want to be the doctor with a boss in a hospital, then do it! screw wut other ppl think! u are you and ppl should appreciate it. have a nice night!

You sound quite normal and healthy to me. At least you're not out running around taking drugs that fry your brain & out having "the good ole times!" Keep up the good work of growing up & enjoy being young! Time flies!

I think you're perfectly normal...I remember I went through a stage like that when I was about your age. Your just a humble, laidback person, nothing wrong with that.
The idea of leadership doesn't necessarily appeal to you. That's fine. Everyone's different.
