Always have a backup plan. Arrange for a friend call you during your date ahead of time. If the date is going well, you simply tell them you will have to call back later. If the date is going bad, you claim an emergency saying, in a concerned tone, something starting with, "Oh my God! When?....." and finishing with, "Ok....ok.....I'll be there as soon as I can get there." and claim a situation that you have to take care of and end the date early. Have a friend in need story ready. Unless they have read this answer, the date is none the wiser about the phone calls true nature.

Depends how bad - if you just realize you're really bad for each other or hes a bit of a loser - try to turn it into an evening having fun with a friend - nothing more. If its unbelievably disgusting - find a reason to leave and dont feel bad about it.

I have had some bad dates but most I could get through it till it ended but one time I told the guy to take me home right now and fortunately he did, I guess if he hadn't have , I would have called the police on him

walk away if you are on the date when it starts to get bad unless you want to be nice hang out then dont ever call the guy again.

I finish the date, take the young lady home, and tear up her phone number. There are certain people who do not matchup well. It could be her, it could be me. If it isn't feeling right, then it isn't right.
