I really want to go to this game, but I am not sure if it is okay. I plan to pack a lunch and not buy anything. I am going with my father, who is not entirely aware or respectful of my beliefs. I am new to this whole thing. Please help me!

but as you said you are new to this. You dont have to do everything at once. I did not become observant overnight and its never a wise idea to do so. Keep learning and you will do what you feel is right.

In all honesty, I'm not sure. You could ask your rabbi for help, but I think (only my opinion) that if in your heart you think it is wrong, then it is wrong.
