heavy water is used to protect the cores of nuclear power plants so as they don't overheat and melt the planet. Or it could just be ice that falls on your head and it only seems heavier.... All though that is not true either because ice less dense than water so ice would be light water so go with the first answer...

Hydrogen typically only has a proton at its core. it can have 1 or 2 neutrons (deuterium or tritium). It is then useful in fusion reactions. This question would probably have better luck in the physics department.
