Right now, I'm willing to bet that we are there for the long haul. We have two enemies in that region that would pounce if we left. Iran and Syria, are itchin for a fight and we might decide to hang around until that happens.

In the meantime, Israel has just about had enough of Ahmadinejads big mouth and threats to destroy Israel. I think they are the ones who will do the pouncing. And when they do, Iran will feel compelled to retaliate.

Since we are sworn to protect Israel, I guess we will just have to do that, and since we already have troops on the ground there, we save the time and expense of dispatching more troops.

See, it's a question of economics, not strategy.

Good thinking. They have built bases in both Iraq and Afghanistan. They know they need to protect the flow of oil.

Iraq is next to my country and I think Americans must leave as fast as they can, because some ppl. there in Iraq are gonna kill them all if they didn't =|
