Most often when housetrained pets start having accidents, it is due to a urinary tract infection. Other signs of this will include frequent urination, small amounts, and squatting and nothing coming out. Try to collect a clean sample in a clean container and take it in. This is oftentimes hard to do, so you may want to take her to the vet and have him express her bladder. If you catch it early, it won't be hard to treat. Usually a urinalysis isn't very expensive and neither are antibiotics. A culture done by the vet will determine what type of antibiotic will be appropriate.

Are you taking her out frequently enough? When my hubby doesn't pay close attention, our lab will occasionally have an accident because he can't hold it (yeah my hubby isn't the best doggy daddy lol).
If that's not the problem, have her checked out for an infection, if she has an infection, maybe she really can't hold it at all.
Check out my answer to that other ladies' question about potty training her 3 month old puppy, I described my 'potty toy' method, which worked for my dog. Good luck!

crate training is the most effective form of housetraining i have come across. if she was trained but is now acting out. you may want to find out if another animal has marked somewhere in your home. this will cause he to constantly mark her scent. if that is the case there are chemicals on the market that you can shampoo your carpets with or just spray areas to take out odors. good luck

My two year old aussie was having accidents and it turned out she had a bladder infection and just couldn't hold it because it hurt. I'd def talk to the vet about it.

If she's been a good girl up until now, there may be something medically wrong with her. She may be giving you a "sign". Take her to the vet to have her checked. She may have a UTI or diabetes.
