what next would be the reason you reject God. Is it the fear of being controlled? Or something else that would keep you away?
This is just a question....so don't get all fired up. Please take the time to explain to me so I can understand where you are coming from. Thank you in advance for reading and answering

If it was proven true I wouldnt have any other objection but to have to believe in it. But then again there would be no faith involved.

"Unbelievers"? Is this a Christian speaking or a Muslim?

The "non-believer", "infidel" and "kaffir" are Islamic jargon, aren't they? Must say that it looks like it took some effort for you to delete the [pbuh] and [swt] that is also part of your jargon, to make this look like "Christian Propaganda", isn't it?

Since Christians don't usually go around touting their "Faith" and are, usually, not in the habit of making the language errors that are evident in your usage, I guess we can all conclude where you are coming from. Must say, though, you've taken a lot of effort on the language front as well.

Since you claim to be ignorant and seek "explaination" do permit me to enlighten you to some facts.

Most of the Christians do not go by the Book, like all the Muslims do, but by the Spirit of the Bible, and there, too, the New Testament. So, if the Bible were "proven" "True" or even "False", it wouldn't make much difference. Of course you will appreciate the fact that for someone to "Prove" anything at all about the Bible, or even the more recent Koran, would be next to impossible; due to obvious reasons.

Christians know that God loves them and respect that, so whatever the Bible "proved" to be wouldn't change that. However, if you take the average Muslim who live all their lives screaming "Allahu Akbar", praying 5 or 6 times a day and working themselves into a frenzy over their God, perhaps if their Book were "proven" anything, they'd lose sense of direction completely. Christians wouldn't have that problem because they are not "controlled" in the rigid fashion that your people are.

May I suggest that you kindly refrain from trying this kind of thing because we do not find it amusing and we do not go around questioning your "Faith" or doing such things. Please trust me that you will not succeed in "converting" anyone, but will only have more people strongly convinced about the lack of direction in your ways.

Why do you come off calling people names? "UNBELIEVERS!" is the first word you wrote. Don't you think that you could have asked that same question and not come across as such an angry fanatic?

Having a personal with God is just that, a personal thing. If you choose to tell us of your experiences then do that and stop condeming people right off the start.

If you really believe the writings in the bible, then you would know that All men know of God for the invisible things of The Lord are clearly seen, so that they are without excuse. Haven't you ever read that? I have, and I believe it.

So back up, take a deep breath, and pray for understanding.

The bible was written by men with agendas all their own. Even in church it was explained to me that it is a story book to help explain the history and philosophy of the church and some of its key players. One of the major turn off is the UNBELIEVERS attitude like some one who believes in the story book is better then the rest of us. The idea that a ghost sitting on a cloud has control over the universe is just a little silly to most adults. The use of God to state one way or another your own particular feelings is also annoying. The real bad part is that my God is all knowing and all caring yet many of the religious fanatics state he hates this group or he hate that group....what kind of God would hate any of his children?
The church is also not taxed, the Grey Nuns ran a brothel out of their day care forcing children to have sex, another Catholic Nun was just convicted of Genocide in Africa, Priests are buggering children, no miracles have conclusively occurred since we have come out of the dark ages. Mary got pregnant without having sex, you see how all this could add up to a general disdain, and then you come on and call everyone UNBELIEVERS or as you spell it UNBLELIEVERS, if God wanted you to make a point i think he would have ran s spell check for you.

Proven to be true? Any rational person would then believe in god. But that's a circular arguement where you're begging the question; it's impossible to prove god to exist without it being true. You can demonstrate that it's somehow consistent with science, which would bring us to the question of how we use occums razor.

Oh hey, I misread your question. If the BIBLE were proven true. Ummm... the bible is entirely a narrative; if someone said all of this stuff, then it's true. Now, if they were proven to not by lying (or wrong) when they said that, then I'm gonna back up Violet on this one.

God should prove his existence by showing up like he used to do in the bible. If you have read 'the book' you know that he came down all the time for even small things by today's standards What seems to be the problem now? With so many that are questioning his existence? Perhaps he doesn't realize how many non-believers He would convert. I'm surprised that He doesn't realize that it's the only way to do it.

If there was unrefutable proof that the bible was 100% true and accurate and the followers were void of crazy zealots, then I'd still wonder why a god would need ignorant servants (because the bible suggests that god wants his followers to remain ignorant) to worship him. I would also wonder why god gave us instincts and our carnal nature and then expects us to live in painful denial of this nature. I also question certain sins because of the aforementioned nature. That seems awefully sadistic to me - that God would make sex pleasurable and make us want it, but put restrictions on it. That's messed up. Some of the 10 commandments seem a little self serving in god's favor. I see humans as being self-serving --- not a deity (not one that's secure in itself anyway). I would also question the sexism, racism, etc... because to me both sexism and racism are morally wrong. I'm sure I'd have more questions than this, but these are the questions that pop into my mind outright.

I guess another one of my questions to you would be - why should I respect God and why is he worthy of my worship? Your god has never proven himself to me and based on the bible, IMO, he's not worthy of the title deity.

I'd like to point out that the Bible, as we now have it in the 21st century, is comprised of centuries of translations, transliterations, interpretations, ommisions, additions, publications, versions, denominational indoctrinations...and all from partial [incomplete] parchments from 2,000 years ago for the N.T. and as much as 10,000 years ago for the O.T. and THOSE are from oral traditions repeated [not accurately] for generations. As such, each generation refines and alters the "original." To top that off, the Bible in Ancient Greek does not translate well into Swahili or Mandarin as various Greek words do not have a direct equvalent into these other languages. Greek into English is equally beset with inequivalencies. Without the linguistic consistiencies, the Bible can not, ever, be proven true, especially as the Bible was written in a culture vastly different from our own.

Well, looking at the recent debacle concerning Haggard, their would be some conflict with the Bible. If he wasn't a bad person (he's religious, he's a minister), then hypocrisy and gay sex must be OK, even though the Bible apparently condemns them. To me it means I would be quite skeptical of this hypothetical proof.

Well if the bible were proven true then there would be no faith, and since christianity is based on faith I imagine god would die right then and there, and I would be forced to reject him.

Your question was poised in such a way as to suggest that the only reason someone doesn't believe in god is to be defiant.
But to answer your question;
As soon as you can tell me why you don't believe in the old Egyptian Gods or Norse Gods, you will understand why I don't believe in your God.
