The whole point of Chrisitanity is that we're all human and we all sin. The whole reason for being a Chrisitan is that we know this and know that without Jesus paying for our sins, we'd all be going straight to hell.

well, yes of course you can, but the point is, is that if you do any of this, you still need to be working toward purity and God's commandments. No, you can't change if you've had sex before marriage, but you should still repent, and be sorry for it. And everyone sins, but that doesn't make it an excuse not to work on yourself. If you do any type of drug/pot, it's still important to be atleast trying to seek help, knowing that you love God and want to please Him. And, anti-depressants are a mood elevator, not a drug. Being gay I beleive is a sin, it's unnatural, and goes against God's plan. We are to follow God's comandments if we love and respect Him, although having a secure relashionship is far more important. If we want a secure relashionship, we are to surender completly to His authority. Drinking A SMALL AMOUNT of alcohol I believe is alright, but getting drunk just delutes our minds, and at that moment, our nervous system (brain) is disconected from God. Watching porn is wrong, and think of this : when you are watching tv, or on the computer, reading a magazine, or what ever, imagine God appearing over your shoulder. What would he be thinking?
Doing this type of stuff, and not seeking help, or trying to refrain with the help of God and others, is just hypocrasy saying you're a christian and doing all this. No we can't expect to change over night. But God can help us because he is our creater. Who knows you and I better than God does?

Where in the world did you ever believe such things....these are sin you are talking about..NO you cannot be a christian and do those things, read your Bible and see for yourself, You sure aren't a good witness to the loss. May God open your eyes to the truth you sure need it.When we repent of our sins it means to turn away from and you become a new creature, if you are doing this and say you are a christian you are decieving yourself and all those around you...

I like an old bumper sticker I used to see: Christians aren't perfect, just forgiven.
That having been said, it is important to emphasize that being a Christian does mean that we are to be walking with Christ daily, allowing His Spirit to teach us and guide us in learning how to live with Christ-like thoughts, attitudes and behaviors. Just saying that we are Christians is not enough. We are to have proof, in the fruit of the Spirit which should be evident in our lives. That is, if we walk in the Spirit, we will not fulfill the lust of the flesh and we will exhibit the fruit of the Spirit which is, love, joy, peace, longsuffering, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness, and self-control.

Yes. We are all Christians whether we accept it or not. That means that not only are we all of the above, we are also Hindu, Budist, Muslim, etc... Just because none of us are perfect, doesn't mean we can avoid the fact that we all have the same creator. We can say we are atheist, belong to another religion or anything else, but we are all still sons and daughters of our Father in Heaven. Christ and no one else will return to judge and rule in righteousness.

With God ALL things are possible, He can change your life no matter what lifestyle you are living. He can forgive any sin but he wont forgive the sin of not accepting his Son Jesus when you are called before his presence.

Yep. A small remark, I won't stop my behavior of drinking red wine though, this beverage was already mentioned in the Bible.
It contains also lot of anti-oxidants. Cheers!

agree, but sin seperates us from God. thats why we feel bad after we do it and try not to do it again after we pray for forgiveness.
Wait, how is being on anti-depressants a sin?

You can be anything you want but being a Christian doesn't save you. Being a follower of Christ does...and Christ said "if you love me, obey my commandments." He also told the women caught in adultery to "go, and sin no more." As humans it is impossible to be perfect, but their is a difference between choosing to sin and falling into sin.
