yes, and the reason being, I personally know a young offender who actually said that he can get away with almost anything short of murder because of the young offenders act, it really changed my point of view on this.

I say we make it stronger, and compared to circumstance all kids should do some kind of custodial time, remember when as a kid when you lost stuff do to your attitude or recklessness you usually striaghtened out. But it will be a chance for juvies to show they deserve the chance and if the prove it erase the record, if the don''t then chances are they will be trouble makers.

Nope. If we get rid of it, then we'll be screwing the kids' lives up through brutal rapings and beatings in an adult prison. You have to remember that laws have in mind the kids' development into adults first and foremost.
