I am working on creating a card catalog of Bible verses that mean a lot to me or that I feel I could use in certain situations. I am going to put them in an index card box under categories such as forgiveness, anger, worship, and promises. Does anyone have a card catalog? If so, what verses and/or categories do you have in it. If not, do you have any ideas of verses/categories I could put in mine?

I don't, but that sounds like a great idea. Hmmm, one that I like, that comes to mind right now is 1 John 4: 7-19. Another one I like that emphasises being non-judgemental, is the one about Jesus talking to Mary of Samaria? at the well, the woman with the 5 husbands... not sure where it is. Go to Walmart's school supply section. Find the index cards. They have some spiral bound index cards called Collections by Cambridge.
I put quotes, bible verses, song lyrics in them - they keep them handy in my purse when I need inspiration
I have one for storms of life.

You could go to a Topical Bible and type in your catagory and it would bring up all the verses you want.

Years ago, I wrote a bunch down & posted them all over my apartment. I finally memorized them, so now they are in my heart.
