i have curly, puffy, frizzy, ANNOYING hair
i just wanted to straighten my hair without it being so frizzy and puffy

I use a Remington Wet to Straight. It makes my hair soft and straight. You can get one from Target or Wal Mart.

Invest in the CHI straightener if you will be straightening your hair most of the time. It is a bit costly $ but worth it. Comes with a great warrenty, it wont fry your hair due to the ceramic base and it heats up super fast and gets the job done perfectly. Most top hair salones use this instument as well. You can find the CHI in Trade Secret stores or in your salon. Chi also has beauty products that might help you in straightening.

I use the CHI iron the best product that works with it is biosilk. The CHI iron can be a little on the costly side though I payed $125 for mines at JcPenney's

my mized friend, tried all hair straighteners and none worked so we went back to the ghetto days and it works tremendously... an iron !! it takes less time your hair will look good it is not hard have a friend you trust do it... then when you know how to do it you can use a towel under your hand and do it that way btw always put a towel down before straightening it with an iron ... good luck =]

I've heard mixed reviews about Chi straighteners but have never used one myself. My hair is similar to yours and becomes very straight and soft once I use my Solia straightener. I bought on Folica.com and have been using it for three years, it still works just as well as the day I bought it.
