Brown rice is healthier because it is a whole grain. White rice is simply "brown rice" with the healthy stuff removed (making it a processed grain). It's similar to the difference between whole wheat flour (whole grain) and processed ("all-purpose") flour.
Right at first, brown rice is a little different (a little chewier than white rice) but after you begin using it exclusively, it doesn't take long before you don't even notice the difference. As a matter of fact, I now prefer the taste and texture of brown rice over that of white rice. It's worth making the swich for the health benefits alone, however. You can substitute brown rice for white in any recipe that I know of, you just have to increase the cooking time a bit.

Brown rice has more fiber as well as potassium and magnesium. Did you know rice is the only food that is completely absorbed by you digestive tract? That means it doesn't produce any gas.

The natural color of rice is brown and to make it white they have to bleach it. So brown is healthier option since it is natural.
