Sounds like this guy has serious codependency issues, and low self esteem. On some level, he has already "pushed" you away. You understand that the relationship you are in with him is not normal because of his issues. Go find someone who is more secure and you'll be happier Good Luck!

Find a quiet place, look into his eyes and say that you care for him.. and then repeat exactly what you just typed.
Let him understand that no matter how hard he clings, it is your decission to stay or go.. not "his"... and to just enjoy the time together. Then take his hand and walk and no further comments.
Take your fingers if he starts to make noise out of his pie hole, touch them too his lips and say, "shhhh" and reply,
"It is not a debateable issue... " each time he tries to bring it up keep doing that.. be nice.. just let him know that you are your own individual and that's the way it is and this will teach him this.
Good luck

Your too needy and need to chill out, just as you told us. :) Be honest, by yourself and tell him exactly how you feel. Good luck to you

The best way to tell anybody something like that, is just tell them,
but with a little compassion

Tell him straight. Hey, this bothers me and it's something that you need to work on...or you will lose me. Don't be hateful about it...just be nice and tell him how you feel.
