Matthew 7:21-24 (King James Version)
21Not every one that saith unto me, Lord, Lord, shall enter into the kingdom of heaven; but he that doeth the will of my Father which is in heaven.
22Many will say to me in that day, Lord, Lord, have we not prophesied in thy name? and in thy name have cast out devils? and in thy name done many wonderful works?
23And then will I profess unto them, I never knew you: depart from me, ye that work iniquity.
24Therefore whosoever heareth these sayings of mine, and doeth them, I will liken him unto a wise man, which built his house upon a rock:
Does this not say to not worship him???
John 5:30
"I cannot so anything myself. I judge as I hear and my judgement is honest because I am not seeking my own will but the will of Him who sent me??"
Mark 13:32
"No-one knows about that say or hour, not even the angels in heaven, not the son, but only the Father."
I know he said I and the Father are one, but he said that about his desciples too???

Actually the Comforter Jesus(as) was talking about is the Prophet Muhammed (saws). He (Muhammad saws) is clearly prophecsied in the old and new testament. So dont tell the me the comforter is the Holy Spirit. The Holy spirit is the Arch Angel Garbriel.

This is a very good clip that comes from the movie "The Passion of the Christ" and brings forth a very important subject: Jesus' (pbuh) revelation of the coming of the Prophet (pbuh).

(They(the people of the Book)themselves bragged, "We have slain Jesus, son of Mary, a Messenger of Allah." Whereas in fact, they did not slay him nor did they crucify him but the matter was made dubious for them. And those who have differed about this matter are also in doubt concerning it. They have no knowledge of it but they follow mere conjectures, for it is certain that they did not kill Jesus. Nay, the fact is that Allah had raised him to Himself, for Allah is All-Powerful, All-Wise.) holy Quran

Your question is a good one. It sometimes boggles the mind how people hold to doctrines that are not Biblical. People believe the way they do, because that is the way they have been taught to interpret the Bible -- they don't question what has been poured into their heads. When they come to another Scripture that conflicts and even contradicts their interpretation, they change the meaning of the 'unfriendly' Scripture, not their belief in a flawed doctrine.
" Does this not say to not worship him???"
A correction is needed here. Jesus was not saying that it was wrong to worship him (although, he did direct his disciples to worship primarily the Father). This passage (Mt 7:21-24) indicates that there will be many people who worship him with their lips, but their heart is not Godly at all (Mt 15:8 -- "These people draw near to Me with their mouth, And honor Me with their lips, But their heart is far from Me.") -- in other words, Christians of pretense, false Christians, even wolves in sheep's clothing.
"I know he said I and the Father are one, but he said that about his disciples too???"
This is actually one of the most profound doctrines in Christianity, yet Trinitarians ignore it or change its meaning so it fits with their unbiblical doctrine.
In John 17 Jesus prayed that Christians would become ONE in the SAME, EXACT way he and his Father are one. There was no mention of a third person called the "Holy Spirit" in this prayer. Jesus did NOT say, "And now, O Father, glorify Me together with Yourself AND THE HOLY SPIRIT, with the glory which I had with You before the world was."
Many times Jesus and the other writers of the New Testament have declared true Christians to be the sons of God. Yet Trinitarians claim that Jesus is the only one who can be a son of God. They have to redefine the term 'son of God' when applied to those other than Christ. But the Word of God makes no such distinction.
Jesus is not ashamed to call us brothers and sisters, but Trinitarians are:
* Mt 12:50 -- "For whoever does the will of My Father in heaven is My brother and sister and mother."
* Heb 2:11 -- "For both He who sanctifies [Christ] and those who are being sanctified [Christians] are all of one, for which reason He is not ashamed to call them brethren."
And I've noticed that many of your answerer's have used 1 John 5:7 as proof of their doctrine. Yet this verse has clearly been shown, many years ago, to have been a forgery. It was inserted into the Bible by Trinitarians to support their ungodly doctrine. This just goes to show that Trinitarians willingly and knowingly follow a lie.

Mt 28:19 where Christ tells to go forth to all nations baptizing in the name of the Father, the Son and the Holy Spirit.
another favorite is when a priest ends mass and quotes 2 Cor 13:14 The Grace of the Lord Jesus Christ, and the Love of God and the communion/fellowship of the Holy Ghost be with yo all. 1 John 5:7, "For there are three that bear record in heaven, the Father, the Word, and the Holy Ghost: and these three are one."
just to name a few.....

WHILE the word "Trinity" is not found in the Bible, is at least the idea of the Trinity taught clearly in it? For instance, what do the Hebrew Scriptures ("Old Testament") reveal?
The Encyclopedia of Religion admits: "Theologians today are in agreement that the Hebrew Bible does not contain a doctrine of the Trinity." And the New Catholic Encyclopedia also says: "The doctrine of the Holy Trinity is not taught in the O[ld] T[estament]."
Similarly, in his book The Triune God, Jesuit Edmund Fortman admits: "The Old Testament . . . tells us nothing explicitly or by necessary implication of a Triune God who is Father, Son and Holy Spirit. . . . There is no evidence that any sacred writer even suspected the existence of a [Trinity] within the Godhead. . . . Even to see in [the "Old Testament"] suggestions or foreshadowings or 'veiled signs' of the trinity of persons, is to go beyond the words and intent of the sacred writers."
So even in trinitarians' own reference works, they admit that the trinity is NOT a Bible teaching.

I don't know if you believe in trinity or not. I don't understand your question/statement. But here is what I believe. Jesus is the Father the Son and the Holy Spirit. It says so in Mathew 28:19 / Acts. Whats the name? Jesus.
Also In 2 Timothy 3:16..."God was manifested in flesh.."
Who? Jesus.
Also in Isaiah 9:6 "For unto us a child is born, unto us a son is given: and the government shall be upon his shoulder: and his name shall be called Wonderful, Counsellor, The mighty God, The everlasting Father, The Prince of Peace."
We know that prophecy is about Jesus.
The angel told Mary that Jesus would be called Emmanuel, meaning 'God with us' :)
Jesus is God. The Bible never says "me the son and the father and then the spirit combined are the Gods"
But it does say this = Looking for that blessed hope, and the glorious appearing of the great God and our Saviour Jesus Christ; Titus 2:13
Neither is there salvation in any other: for there is none other name under heaven given among men, whereby we must be saved. Acts 4:12
To them belong the patriarchs, and from their race, according to the flesh, is the Christ who is God over all, blessed forever. Amen. Romans 9:5
Threre can't be 2 or 3 or 4 or more Gods. why?
(for you shall worship no other god, for the LORD, whose name is Jealous, is a jealous God),Jesus is God. Exodus 34:14
I am the LORD: that is my name: and my glory will I not give to another. Isaiah 42:8

Just wanted to point out that not all Christians are Trinitarians. There are a number of Christian denominations that don't believe in the Trinity, which makes your opening statement a false generalization. The United Pentecostal Church, Christadelphians, Swedenborgians and many other Christian groups do not profess the Trinity as part of their doctrine.

In addition to 1 John 5:7, The Trinity is in the first three verses of Genesis chapter 1. God the Father is creator, God The Word speaks everything into existence and God The Holy Spirit hovers over the waters, the significance of the latter is a whole other subject. That God; Father, Word and Spirit is the God of The Bible. He is Elohim.

He refers to his Father in heaven a fair bit and also calls for the gift of the Holy Spirit...that really cheered him up and gave him the courage to face death...Also the Annunciation refers to the Spirit of God causing Mary to conceive...There's loads of references really and of course it follows as a logical extension of faith in JC's divinity...It's a lot more literal than people suppose, assuming you take Christ at his word...which of course many don't..And then there was the Council of Nicea and Constantinople where the creeds were spelt out. And there was then as there is now all kinds of gob-shites roaming about - Paul refers to them sarcastically as 'Super-apostles'.
The thing he was born of a woman and she conceived via the Spirit - Muslims also believe in the Virgin birth by the way - sent by the Father.
So is he like your Dad and the Spirit like the love between you're Mam and your Dad...who knows? The Holy Spirit is the essence of love...if you ever have an encounter with it you'll know it and won't forget it...a deeply humbling experience...I'll pray you get a gentle revelation tonight...maybe you'll see that the Spirit is alive
and Jesus do we need it...'Come Holy Spirit fill the hearts of your faithful and en-kindle us with love'.
Don't listen to the world on this....Satan cannot stand the Spirit..Just as Satan was in the cloud at 9/11 the Spirit was in the building...that's why the casualty rate was so low...he was also in the air catching the souls of the men and women who jumped before they hit the ground..I saw him there...New York performed very well that day all told...A good day for the US..stood up to the testing...quite a surprise really
Would that the world were burning in the Spirit of love; more importantly would that I could sustain the feeling 24/7 but I'm a bit of a damp squib myself

Read matthew 28:19 when Jesus tells his disciple to go and make disciples of all nations baptizing them in the Name of the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit. Now we know that Jesus and the Father are one and equal. So why would He mention the Holy Spirit, unless the Holy Spirit was just as equal.

yes he said I and the Father are one and he also said "it is good that I leave you now so that the comforter (holy spirit) may come". The bible may not say "trinity" but it doesn't say "rapture" or "bible" either...and no the scripture that you quoted does not say not to worship him..where would you see that..it is saying that although many will do things in his name they still will not make it into heaven because they "did not know him" God will grant prayers in the sons name so that he (God) will get the glory for answering them. however that does not mean that the heart of the person was with God.

Jesus didn't say it, He lived it. The concept of the trinity is sprinkled all throughout the bible. Let me ask you please: Who is the Almighty, Alpha and Omega, Wonderful, Counselor, God, Lord, Creator...These descriptions are all describing Jesus Christ. they are all describing God the Father. They are all describing the Holy Spirit. God the Father and God the Son both use these same words to describe themselves. They are One. There is One God. There were none before and there will be no other God after. Only the Holy Spirit reveals this truth to a believer in Christ. As the trinity is obvious when you read and understand the bible, because the bible is one big book describing the trinity and in great detail.
