Like Job in the Bible...... perhaps it dosen't get any worse then that.

If something as bad as that happen to you would you lose faith in your God??
I am just asking a question, to give you thought on how strong is your faith.
Would you just quit?
You would have every right to be angry, but would you lose your faith in your God?

No you would never lose your faith because God promises that we will never be tempted above what we are able to handle, and that He will provide a way of escape for us.
1 Cor 10:13 No temptation has overtaken you but such as is common to man; and God is faithful, who will not allow you to be tempted beyond what you are able, but with the temptation will provide the way of escape also, so that you will be able to endure it.
God is with us in every circumsance.

No. It would be easy to do so, and I can certainly understand maybe feeling angry towards God over a tragedy, or thinking that he may not exist. Just remember that " all things work together for good, for those who love God and are called according to his purpose." Job never doubted God, (although he did become highly depressed), and God rewarded his faithfulness. Joseph never turned on God while in slavery and jail for half of his life, and because of his loyalty he saved the entire known world from famine and became number 2 ruler of Egypt, the most powerful nation at the time. Paul was severely persecuted for is preaching, and yet he "counted it all as joy".

no I would not. God is God, and He also has every right to do what ever He feels is best for His children. Although bad things happen, God is not responsible for causeing this or "allowing" it to happen. God is a God of love. Even if it seems as if the walls are crashing down all around you, or on you, God is there to comfort, protect, and guide. He will never, ever turn His back on you. You and I are a special part of His big puzzle. He may test your faith yes, but who is to say that's a bad thing? For if God is for us, who can be against us?

This is a Great Question, although a bit difficult to answer because no one really knows what they will do or feel in such a situation, I would definitely hope that I would not lose Faith and not take my losses personal, GOD allows things to happen for a reason, to make me stronger so I guess that although it would be an unfortunate experiences I will have gained FAITH and a closer relationship with CHRIST, he will never abandon you/me !!!!!

I would hope my faith would remain strong but there is no guarantee. I know though that I am a fighter, not a quiter.

This brought to mind an uncle of mine who was German and lived in the German concentration camps during WWII and he lost all his relatives and everything and afterwards I heard he became an atheist. It was a tragedy for him and changed how he felt toward religion afterwards.

Job didn't lose his faith. I would be sad over the loss of my family but I know who I put my faith in. If your faith in God is strong you want quit.

Well my God made everything and is in everything. I would feel lonely and would grieve with my emotions certainly and would seek out companionship that would befit what my family's legacy was. That would be my mission for the rest of my life and to help those who were in need. I would feel a whole host of emotions, but God who is part of me and you created me and my circumstances and I am meant to go on my roller coaster ride. I expect nothing more from my God than that my life will be surprising each turn and roll on this roller coaster of life that I am on. I too have passion for life!

I would not lose my faith. I've lost close family members, and still retained my faith. Even if I lost absolutely everything in this world, it's still no excuse for me to abandon God Almighty. The Lord giveth, and the Lord taketh away.

No. God let satan take everything Job had, and he still loved and had faith in God, I am not Job, and the pain would be unbearable, but loose my faith in God, NEVER, Prayer is the key to Heaven, so God would bring me through what ever circumstance I went through, and I would never go through it alone, God has a reason for everything, it is up to us to accept his will in our lives...Our faith will be tried as fire, I hope and pray that will never happen. but only God knows what trials and tribulations we must face.

When you have lost everything there is nothing left but your faith. It is in those moments that you draw closer to God because nothing else can help restore what you have lost or heal your despair. so it worked the opposite for me. I did not draw away I ran to the only source I knew that could create a miracle for me. AND HE
