Use a large size curling iron. Spray your hair with hairspray before to hold the curl. Try to make your hair almost the last preparation because you don't want to shower after curling your hair. Have a great time at your dance.

Use mousse or gel on damp hair, blow dry upside down for the most volume, section off a piece of hair for the iron, spray with hairspray, when you curl the hair onto the iron pull you hair forward then roll back to get the iron close to your scalp causing more volume. when you remove the iron try to keep the curl still rolled up, use a clip to secure it to your head, leave each curl pinned up until it is cooled, repeat with all of your hair. If the curls are cool when you take the clips out they will be curlier and have more volume. Hot rollers would work great too- just make sure to pull your hair way forward and then roll back to get volume and leave them in until they are cool- go outside if you have to. spray hairspray all over after you style it! Good Luck- hope your hair and your evening are perfect.

When I got married and had the stylist do my hair, she used this stuff called Helmet Head. That was the BEST at keeping curls up!! I would suggest as others to use a large curling iron; ie the 1.5 inch barrell. Then spray this stuff on each curl and they won't move, I promise!!!

* Also, take a comb and start from the roots combing up---hold it and spray that hair spray! That will give you volume from the roots!!

You DON'T use a curling iron. You pretty much HAVE to use large curlers and set them in your hair an for an hour or so. You can get good ones from Wal-Mart even... I use CONAIR Ion Shine... they are purple and silver and were around $30. Make sure they are all the jumbo/big size, not multiple sizes. Don't use the little or medium curlers or it won't look right... And be sure not to wrap too much hair around a single curler or else it won't stay. Hope that helps!

you are able to no longer rather do this. you will get somewhat turn, such as you're asserting, yet no longer an entire curl. attempt flipping it such as you're, and putting some hair spray good earlier and good after, and it ought to postpone greater desirable. For a real curl, purely bypass spend like $10 or $20 someplace like objective, or Walgreens, and so on for a curling iron, which would be greater desirable.
