I prefer the bike and treadmill, but I think almost any exercise at the gym as long as you keep your heart rate up will do the trick.

Swimming. I started recently and it has worked great :) The harder it is to do, the more it works is the way I've always looked at it. Swimming is very tiring, but it works so many muscles that it's well worth it.
