well, depending on how long you've been together, that could be impossible. All you can do is tell her how you feel. Say that you don't think you guys are not good as a couple, but that you really enjoyed being friends. And don't do anything stupid like talk about a new crush in a week or two.

To end your relationship with your wife? What? Will this come as a surprize to her? I would start by stating whatever problems you have been experiencing and that you would like to end the relationship before this becomes any more difficult for the two of you and so might remain on friendly terms. In other words, let's not lets this fail any further, lets salvage our respect for one another so we don't have to hurt either of us any further and can remain friends. Sound good? Hope this helps!

Ending a relationship is never polite, saying we can still be friends does not work, it all depends on the type of relationship.

Whats up? Why do you want to dump her but still be good friends?
Tell her everything, be honest. And be prepared for the worst time of your life. It will take time for her to calm down no matter how nice you are about it. When you break someones heart it is never a quick fix and okay thing.

Well, you have to realize that it takes time to heal a broken heart. You should be honest and polite but that doesn't mean she'll be jumping for joy to be your friend. In fact, that may hurt her more. You can't have your cake and eat it too...

have a good heart to heart talk with them and let them know that it isnt working out and that you feel that it would be better if you remained friends and not enemies.tell them that your not angry and your not with some one else.some people are not meant to be . they make better friends than lovers.
