The orbits in the universe do not only belong to some celestial bodies. The Solar System and even other galaxies also exhibit considerable motion around other centers. Every year the Earth, and the Solar System with it, move some 500 million km from where they were the previous year. It has been calculated that even the slightest deviation from celestial bodies' paths could have drastic consequences which might spell the end of the entire system.

That the entire universe is full of paths and orbits such as this one, is written in the Qur'an as follows:

Another characteristic of heavenly bodies is that they also rotate around their OWN AXES. This may be one of the implications of the verse "[I swear] by Heaven with its cyclical systems." (Surat at-Tariq: 11).

Human need to be in space to study this rotation. So at His era, nobody knew this.

Now where does Prophet Muhammad get that infomation from? The devil? Why would devil want to explain to us humans about solar system?

Prophet Muhammad(pbuh) is not the author of The Holy Qu'ran, Allah(swt)(GOD) is the original author. Prophet Muhammad(pbuh) Only His Messenger just like Jesus did.

Historian and philosopher Richard Carrier, says that certain scientific facts detailed in the Qur'an were known in the Middle East centuries before it was written, or were "predicted" also by other people with no claims of divine inspiration, or are found in passages that are clearly rephrasals of the Hebrew Bible. He also criticizes the translations and context of the verses presented as scientific facts.

Turkish physicist and philosopher Taner Edis, also counters that the Qur'an offers "vague descriptions of natural phenomena" which are shown to be in agreement with modern science by using "stretched or arbitrary" interpretations. Edis describes claims that the Quran refers to the expanding universe, parallel universes, and cosmic structural hierarchies as "blatantly wrong."

It's also known that within the last two centuries, andfuls of muslim clerics and Qu'ranic scholars have been following physicists, astronomers and biologists around asking them questions and looking for ways to incorporate factual scientific data into the interpretations of scripture. Essentially changing the Qu'ran to suit the data. I would bet that the original verse uses a word or words similar to but not a direct translation of the term "cyclical systems."

Well, I think ancient peoples knew quite a bit about the world and science long before Christianity, Judaism, and Islam even came about. Most of it went up in flames at the library at Alexandria. But I'd say yes - it probably did come from Satan. After all, Satan gave Eve information on how to save herself from ignorance, too. Satan doesn't want people to be ignorant about their bodies, their world, themselves, or to serve as slaves. But that's just my opinion. :)

Maybe an alien gave us the information or a human from the future gave us that info.

Well, one would posit that it was done to show that God perhaps isn't that much in charge of things
