For those who are Lebanese- How do you feel about those who are of another religion as you?

Question

Do you think it is ok to be whatever religion you want, even atheist?

Do you feel comfortable around those of another religion?
-How do you feel about people who aren't comfortable around
those of a different religion?
-How do you feel about those who are?

I do realize there are multiple religions in Lebanon (thats why I didn't name any one specifically). I am not concerned with what religion, just that it is a different one.

I'm syrian, but I think I have enough experience with other lebanese to answer your question. from what I've seen, the majority of lebanese are very open minded. There are strict cultural cliques (that's a muslim neighborhood, no christians live there, or only atheists go into that line of business, etc...) but I think that's relatively common throughout the MidEast.

Lebanon certainly has enough stereotypes of being the "loosest" of hte arab countries, but I think that its diversity gives it something no other arab nation has.

I'm wondering if you think all Lebanese have the same religion? There is quite a variety in that country, I think.
